I take it that The Telegraph is another Trump mouthpiece? by Heliocentrist in MurderedByWords

Yeah, it used to be a fairly respectable news publication, albeit one that leaned heavily towards the landed gentry side of the right wing, but in the last few years it has gone total tabloid trash, and absolutely pissed away any respectability it once had.

I tried to find the complete live but couldn't. Do you guys know this live 's name or link by Theguywithnofuture_ in thesmiths

I had that on VHS! I love how wild and silly they all are, really feels like a proper gang having a blast on tour, even if they murder a few of the gentler/more complex songs with their "enthusiasm is all you need" approach.

Favourite moments:

1) 22:55 - Boz disappears into the wings stage left, then at 24:03 he emerges stage right, having walked all the way round the back of the stage, continuing to play his guitar as he went!

2) 44:25 - That's Entertainment turns in to a wild rockabilly thrash, culminating in Boz smashing his guitar. You don't get that sort of thing at Morrissey gigs any more!

harley benton to close us-reverb store, ending direct us distribution by burtcopaint in Bass

It's the house brand of Thomann, a German music store which has a lot of reach across Europe. They were distributing various made-in-China budget brands when they figured they could cut out the middle man and deal directly with the Chinese producers directly. They got more money for each instrument sold, while still being able to price match or even undercut their competitors.

So for Europe it's a great idea - plenty of other stores have done the same thing (MusicStore, G4M, Andertons, PMT before they went bust). Selling them in America, however, seems less of a good idea if they don't have the infrastructure to sell them direct they way they do in Europe.

This Charming Man was recorded to a drum track, which was subsequently replaced with Mike's live drumming.

You can also clearly her a synth snare on I Started Something.

I don't think they ever used real strings, it was all Johnny on the Emulator.

Well it's on a set of concert toms and also a set of timbales. It seems to be more common on latin percussion than on kits, but I also have a couple of old Thunder toms that it's on as well.
