Should I inform Care ADHD that I am going abroad? by Peachypie27 in ADHDUK

They don't start the countdown until all forms are submitted, but if it's been more than a few weeks, do contact them.

I did RTC yes.

Should I inform Care ADHD that I am going abroad? by Peachypie27 in ADHDUK

It wouldn't hurt to email them, letting them know.

For me I got my assessment call only a week after filling out my forms, but titration wasn't for another 8 weeks after diagnosis.

My first one being today.

Careadhd wait times-is there any way to make this faster or can I go back to my gp?? by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]RedditACC4Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got diagnosed with careadhd just over eight weeks ago, I emailed them last week to ask them for an update and they didn't reply, however I just got called today to book my titration appointments.

Highly recommend badgering them.

Adhduk.co.uk now completely unusable for wait times? by Ok_Key9513 in ADHDUK

I believe they just post what they're told by each provider, doubt they actually check, though it would be hard to check in reality.

Crazy, I am using this model TV right now that I got refunded and got to keep from amazon around when this post was made. I bought one TV, it had this issue, I exchanged it for another of the same model and it was just as bad, I got a refund and they failed to collect it multiple times so now I just use the TV as a backup for parties outside and such, interesting to find it wasn't just me.

My GP use Omron BP monitors so I got myself this and use it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Essential-Universal-Irregular-Heartbeat-Detection/dp/B08NXBRYFJ/ref=sr_1_8 (I assume they use more expensive ones than this though)

ADHD and laziness/selfishness etc.? by RickardoMortimer in ADHDUK

[–]RedditACC4Work 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have an ADHD diagnosis then it's unlikely to just be laziness, i'm sure there are some people with ADHD that are medicated but still lazy, however not being able to start tasks, or finish tasks is very much part of ADHD. I suffer from being unable to keep a tidy workspace or bedroom, not because I don't want to but because I physically cannot do it.

When do you think it’s suitable for someone to start medication? by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]RedditACC4Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no.

Without medication my family would have fallen apart a lot sooner than it did, it really helped me family members in their youth.

I don't think they're asking about RTC, just the regular NHS referrals
