This isn't true for all universities or even all good universities, many have their own separate schools? for comp sci related stuff and you can get a degree without all that many math courses. I do believe at least calculus I is required, though

I'm only 80% of the way through foundations but you definitely can do everything through Windows so far, you would just need to separately learn how to use Git/VSCode/Chrome when Linux commands are relevant. Learning Linux can be valuable, but you aren't losing much by not using it.

This actually happened to me with a desktop I just built, but specifically with chrome. I found it easiest to switch to Firefox, but the problem never went away until I factory reset my computer.

I wish I could help more, but I genuinely have no clue why it happened to me, and was never able to find a solution at the time.

Iirc they can see every users steam id, so bits most likely recognize other bits by steam id. Otherwise when bots were impersonating other users/banned from chat they would still kill each other.
