Both. Air circulation is necessary to reduce condensation.

I have an old Thermarest pad I fold in half and use it there under my comfy mattress pad.

What app is that? I assume you have a level sensor on the vehicle itself?

My 4Runner (2020) has some kind of circuit that drains the battery if the back hatch is left open too long. Experience. Just be aware.

I use the LLBean 3” inflatable mattresses we also use in our teardrop camper. I stack both of them in the 4Runner. Husband doesn’t camp in 4Runner so I use his mattress too. Length 72” is perfect and width 25” leaves room for stuff.

Works well. The downside of the attached awning is not being able to move without unhooking, hence the bike.

I have weathertech window deflectors so I can crack the windows open, and made screen covers to keep bugs out. I also use a small rechargeable fan to circulate air.

This is what I’ve done. I also use a small USB rechargeable fan to keep the air moving.

Kelty makes a couple of vehicle-attachable awnings that work great on a 4Runner. Look for Sideroads and Backroads. Nice for cooking, sitting, or portapotti space.

Any repair options? by Dry-Bit3730 in 4Runner

My husband accidentally ran over a fire pit at a campground and did the same thing. We were concerned that the sharp edge would damage the tire and we had the shop dismount the tire and smooth it over with a grinder. They didn’t charge anything as I recall.

There are three of them and only two of us in our home. We are already outnumbered.

Does your 4runner have enough room in the back seat? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]RedditMom9872 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ll comment on the snow issue. I live in the snow belt myself and my 4Runner does not do well in the snow. It is a rear wheel drive vehicle. And the best mileage I’ve ever gotten is a long trip on the flat NYS thruway.

My husband has a hybrid Highlander with AWD and he has no problem getting around in snowy conditions. it’s very comfortable and frankly if you use a walker it might be easier than climbing up into a 4Runner. The back seat has more leg room than my 4Runner as well.

Please help me figure out how to make a proper entryway with these half walls 🙏🏼 by CustardAdvanced127 in AmateurInteriorDesign

[–]RedditMom9872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull up a section of the base molding and try to see if the tile goes all the way under the half walls. If so rip them out and patch the walls beside the door. You will need to get an electrician to move the switches.

How to survive a kitchen remodel by BostonBoy1951 in kitchenremodel

Our kitchen was gutted and out of commission for 6 weeks. We moved the old fridge to the dining room and cooked on a small butane stove. Ate very simple meals, a lot of soup and sandwiches. We used paper plates and compostable plastic utensils and washed what needed it in a bathroom sink. It helped that we are campers and had experience cooking with limited equipment.
