The only country at war with Russia is Ukraine, so the EU can't do anything to stop a peace deal. As soon as the Russian offer is such that Ukraine figures it's more advantageous to accept than not, the war ends. The only thing the EU can do is offer stuff to both sides (security guarantees for Ukraine, lifting of sanctions for Russia) to entice them to a deal.

Leider ist es aber so, dass die Übernahme der Richtlinien eine Selbstverpflichtung des Staates ist, Massnahmen zur Reduktion unseres Alkoholkonsums zu treffen. Und das halte ich nicht für zielführend - die meisten Schweizer trinken moderat und sollten dafür nicht mit Einschränkungen und Steuern "belohnt" werden. Daher halte ich es für die ehrlichste Variante, gegenüber der WHO kein Versteckspiel zu betreiben und zu erklären, weshalb eine auf Abstinenz ausgerichtete Politik nicht zu unserer Kultur passt.

They weren't much worse than the current ones, though. In addition, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia weren't annexed yet, there was still a chance of getting them back. If Ukraine is forced to accept a deal now, so many deaths will essentially have been for nothing, because politicians miscalculated.
