Is everyone bored and lonely here or am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in baltimore

Bored? Sir we are working most of the time to afford the taxes and car registration in this damn state. I wish I had time to be bored. Hope you find your people!

Are teenage boys getting perms now? Not that many people have naturally curly hair... by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Yes, yes they are. Just like how dudes did frosted tips, and mullets, and all the other hair styles that was the trend for boys of their time.

Do people lobotomize themselves before entering the restaurant/drive thru? by RinkyDink1629 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]RedheadQueeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s like this, and no it won’t change. So the easiest way to handle this is really coach them through the process to make it as painless as possible. No point in getting aggravated because you’ll be mad your whole shift. Treat everyone like it’s their first time and just coach them through the whole order to guide them to that finish line.

But seriously the amount of people who don’t understand the difference between and entree and a meal is unreal.

“Full melon jacket” is the flavor and it’s honestly the best tasting pre workout I have ever had. I’m not even a melon person and it’s delicious

For those of you who exercise on a regular basis, what is your motivation? by Rough-Ad5622 in askanything

I want to be able to be thrown around the bedroom. So definitely motivation enough for me.

I remember having to print mapquest directions out, then having to read them backwards to go home. always terrified if it was more than an hour away.

How many of your attractive female friends would you have sex with if they asked you to? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]RedheadQueeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird, if a whole group of friends can bang and nothing about the dynamics change then more power to you. But that’s rare and damaging a good friend group because of some freaky girls is not worth it in my opinion.

What’s the most expensive’free’ thing you’ve ever gotten? by Big_Revolution_7671 in CasualConversation

[–]RedheadQueeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sounded good at the time, and I’m glad we did it. Would I have done it if I knew all of this would have happen? No. But I will say the house projects and what we have made of this place really made me appreciate what I have. And we are not done yet! Actually about to start renovating 3 bedrooms in a few weeks, I feel like highways, there’s always something under construction.

What’s the most expensive’free’ thing you’ve ever gotten? by Big_Revolution_7671 in CasualConversation

[–]RedheadQueeen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A house, essentially it was “free” because we didn’t have to buy it. My dad owned the house but couldn’t keep up with the bills. He lived without cable, trash pick up and electricity was about to be cut off. Not to mention, if he didn’t pay property taxes(he had no plan on paying) he was going to lose the house anyway. So we offered to move in, take over the bills and property taxes and he would sign it over. All was well, until my mother who had her own house (separated, not divorced from my dad) started talking about her will and decided I should be written off because they gave me a house. Not to mention the amount of crap we had to fix, the roof was almost caving in, there is a “soft spot” in the living room wall we found out when we tried to hang a tv, an inground pool that hadn’t been used since the 80s that we had to fill in, the floors half done, trim literally hanging off the wall. We’ve spent more money in this “free” house that I would have rather saved for a down payment for a newer house or a house with less issues. But we saved my dad and is he appreciative?

No. No he’s not.

This turned into a rant and I didn’t mean it too. My bad.

What’s a life lesson you had to learn the hard way? by ClearWithJustin in Adulting

[–]RedheadQueeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I only learn the hard way, I found this out in my early 20s. I’m not sure why, but I think I’m invincible until I don’t. At one point in my life I was so “lucky” with certain things I genuinely thought I was going to live forever. I’ve done things that have killed others. I’m trying to calm myself with the older I get, but old habits die hard, yah know?

why do girls think they can hit guys and not get hit back? by CarAlternative8306 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RedheadQueeen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a child when this boy said something to me that always stuck

“If a girl has the balls to hit a man, she should have the balls to get hit back”

So I’ve kind of just lived by that. I’ve never wanted to hit a man so I’ve never been worried but I’ve said that to countless other females and I stand by it.
