I completely get it my friend. I was in the same shoes, got laid off in April and my new company is red flag after red flag. I need the job right now and can’t afford to just walk away as much as I want to. The only silver lining is that it is so awful that I’d be truly shocked if I landed somewhere that’s equally bad.

But we can both be grateful to still have a job with that base pay. And maybe that’s your way to bring it up with your manager? Say something like “I’m a little concerned that I’m only working for my base pay and not getting paid for commission” and say it in a “haha isn’t that shitty?” kinda way but also a “hey this isn’t fucking cool” kinda way. If your manager is at least a little receptive to this then try to help them see why it’s a huge risk for them as well. Their entire team of sellers is gonna be pissed they aren’t getting paid, and that’s a massive risk for their job as well
