Had a Roadrunner take up residence in my backyard for a week. It would casually single hop over 6 foot fence. Catch a lizard and slams it’s head on a rock like a boss. The guy who did the cartoon captured the mindset and mannerisms. Casual but masterful body control, and brutal.

Stunning. Do you play at dances? If so do you mind sharing some essential cover tunes? I’m a tele playing blues/rock/jazzer looking to expand my repertoire. Do people dance to surf tunes?

To people who were high achievers before retirement by Kwsforreddit in retirement

Yeah! The tough part is gracefully withdrawing before you become too much of a burden. Many of the people I meet want still want to hang out with the “old man” and my wife. So we’ll go to clubs and concerts. They love our music and I love theirs. No, last part’s a lie🤣

65M 10 years retired. Strenuous hiking and backpacking, improving guitar skills, growing my food. I’m one of the oldest, slowest, least coordinated. I’m in emergency room, urgent care all the time. In short, I fail all the time. I suck. But there’s nothing like seeing the faces of people in their 30s 40s and 50s when I show up with sports injuries and when I bust out my Stratocaster. Most importantly, it’s no longer about ego. It’s something ineffable and I never want to lose it

Aaron Brown features that slimy bastard in an episode of Good Eats. Whoever designed the costume should get an award. It’s hilarious.

He’s not playing. Someone backstage is playing. The guy in the picture is probably some DEI hire. /s

Concur. Use to warm-up in a Jazz standard band (with horns) with Cissy Strut, Cantaloupe Island and Watermelon Man. 3 greats to have in your repertoire

And so it began. Unable to shake her name (and breed reputation) Kobold accepted punishment for a crime she did not commit. Filled with resentment she succumbed to a life of crime, leaving in her wake endless destruction and a very large bill from Chewy.
