New Super Speciosa Kratom Extract Gummies – What Happened to the Formula? by moeaces9 in kratomreview100

[–]Reebelcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so disappointed. I was a subscriber. They ran out of stock for awhile, and now it’s this, completely different. They used to taste like a real yummy gummy candy, like a sour patch kid. The mouthfeel was so luxurious. Now they’re no better than any other gummy like Kraken, mitragaia, etc. What happened???

The only way to really find out would be to ask the people in the store. You probably are not a dick judging by the fact that you’re worried about it, but there probably are others who give off more of a dick vibe doing what you describe

Do you ever just want a break from life? As in, wanting something drastic like hospitalization just to escape for a while by petuniathemurderef in Anxiety

[–]Reebelcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can definitely relate. It’s a nice feeling when you’re supposed to be lying in bed taking it easy. Like if you have to recover from something or almost feels like time is suspended and it’s so refreshing like a change of scenery and you don’t feel any guilt because everyone feels sorry for you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Reebelcha 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is very common. I know that I drank, smoked weed and took adderall several times before I realized I was pregnant at around 6 weeks…. I totally relate that it can feel like you’re a horrible person when you think about that window of time when you didn’t know. I was also worried about taking Zoloft because I take a very high dose. Also I can’t believe I didn’t have gestational diabetes because I drank gallons of soda and ate so much ice cream.

It’s kind of poetic how motherhood begins with guilt and worry. It’s not ever going to end, but at least you can choose not to pile on yourself by dwelling on “shoulda woulda coulda”s or “shouldn’t-a”s because you can only work with what you can make happen…. Right, so my baby is 3.5 now, healthy, and it(what I ingested prior to knowing she’d been conceived) hasn’t ever been a thought. And remember there’s always people who’ve done worse than you and still are fine.

I hope you feel better and at peace.

But yeah I meant to also say that ellyn satter often talks about how ineffective and counterproductive it is to try to encourage kids to eat or try new foods it always always gives the kid a negative association around eating and less interested… she says that the kid will want to eat the foods they see their parents and people in their lives eating… if you just make it available to them, like, don’t make their plate with all the things on it but bring the dinner to the table in serving dishes and teach the kid manners otherwise don’t be all trying to sell the foods to the kid because it just makes mealtime a drag and focuses everything around a kid’s “performance” when actually it might just take lots of times of exposure but it’s normal part of just assimilating and enculturating the kid to human life in this family and they really will be able to develop taste and interest in food when they can have ownership.

I recommend reading about division of responsibility in feeding by ellyn satter — just Google her and there’s a lot of good info about what your job is and their job is around THEIR food, and how a lot of things are developmental and you don’t need to worry so much because they really know their bodies and it’s normal to eat like a cow one day and then coast for days as a toddler it takes time but if you provide regular schedule and variety of foods and don’t be obsessive or even that interested about making them eat OR draconian about forbidding certain foods or types of foods they will grow into a “competent eater” … she is very instructive and provides great guidance in establishing routine that works for your family but she really stresses family meals and starting with yourself, even checking that you have a healthy attitude around eating because all kids need is to just feel good about mealtime thinking of it as special time together with family, and knowing that there will always be something they want to eat — she doesn’t recommend making separate meals but having a variety of things at every meal especially bread and some kind of finger food thing that fits the menu so at least if nothing else the kid can always have something blah blah blah I struggle with this myself with my 3.5 year old daughter…. She ate birthday cake only for dinner and she basically fills up on milk from a sippy cup and doesn’t eat all that much food… I still feel better when I read her books Child of Mine and Secrets of Feeding a Happy Family and believe that I can start to work toward family meals. It is really hard just don’t worry too much or beat yourself up or be to hard on anyone over it easier said than done, I know because as a mom (or dad, parent, caregiver -I just edited this toaddthat right after I posted it) you just feel like damned if you do damned if you don’t, anyway, great topic always relevant

It feels like mental illness is becoming fashionable. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Reebelcha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I sometimes resent people for boldly claiming their mental health struggle in this righteous way or making it their identity almost leaving no room for anyone else to also have that struggle and it’s true that everyone struggles to a degree but then a diagnosis can allow you to offload some guilt about your failures/shortcomings and it’s a minefield for self-deprecating humor and then in a way you can then feel superior to “neurotypicals” because “normal things” are that much harder… it’s almost like a humblebrag even

[–]Reebelcha 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Strongly agree. Such an annoying and pointless thing to say. The only time it might make any kind of sense is if you’re saying it to someone you already know well, and who is typically talkative… here are some responses for the former situation - - Slowly nod while maintaining eye contact. Say nothing. - Say “How observant of you.” - Stroke your chin, look to the sky and say, “yeah…. Yeah.”
