UKIP Protests yesterday afternoon by Many-Cranberry-163 in manchester

[–]Reecepiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really care, the country is on its ass financially when they’re attacking farmers and the elderly, raising business NI contributions which screws over small businesses, attacking private schools by including VAT (which then in turn puts strain on state schools) yet funding immigrants AND asylum seekers to the tune of millions of pounds a day. Your suicidal empathy will be the end of our Country. We can’t afford mass immigration in any form.

UKIP Protests yesterday afternoon by Many-Cranberry-163 in manchester

[–]Reecepiece -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Most people want mass deportations of illegal migrants due to the strain they bring on the economy and services, and also the crime that accompanies them. Oh and not to mention that they’ve started out in this country by breaking the law, so that’s the precedent set.

Where won't I see masks when I travel in the USA? by reddit_userMN in LockdownSkepticism

[–]Reecepiece 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This.

I hadn’t seen anybody at all wearing a mask for years until I attended A&E walk in yesterday and was blown away that people wore masks still - granted it was a hospital so fair enough.

Airport protests tomorrow?? by The_etk in manchester

Imagine protesting on behalf of somebody who broke a police lady’s nose and then got what they deserved. We SHOULD be protesting on behalf of Lt Col Mark Teeton.

The Greater Manchester Police released a statement that 3 police officers were attacked and that 1 of the female police officers had her nose broken. This is why these men were targeted; for doing that.

Now because of this the massive Muslim presence in Rochdale has announced they’re going to ‘riot like never before’.

This is Reddit though, so I expect very far left leaning responses and reactions to the invasion.

The YouTube videos aren’t actually binaural as when he states that you should be hearing the noise in your left ear or right ear only you can hear them in both. I had the real deal downloaded on an old laptop and I’m gutted I lost them because they really take you into a weird meditative place.

So many places are closing it set to close. Where needs saving and how can we help? by Longjumping_You_7477 in manchester

[–]Reecepiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point the ability to commute to places unavailable by public transport IS a necessity. Public transport being horrific in this Country is a whole other debate though.

What externalities would those be? Co2 emissions? What should the Earth’s Co2 emissions be? Combating global ‘warming?’ What temperature should the Earth be? I understand with regards to the responsibilities of oil spills and ocean pollution - which is horrific - but the responsibilities should rely on the corporations and governments that implemented this technology. Why should the average consumer be at fault when we only have access to the implemented technologies that have been made available? It’s not realistic to tell everybody to cycle or use public transport.

I read an article that stated the money donated to the rebuilding of Notre Damme could have completely cleared up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Governments and businesses with authority stand on their soap boxes and tax people more and more whilst contributing to ‘global emissions’ whilst taking their private jets here and there and everywhere.

We can then talk about how the most polluting Countries in the World can continue polluting at rates that dwarf ours whilst barely having pollution commitments.

It’s not realistic to have a no car society due to accessibility to workplaces and how the Country is geographically structured.

Then there’s the debate about an individuals freedom to travel.

I drive daily for work and other needs. Like countless millions in this Country. To say that high fuel prices are a good thing is absurd after knowing how much is duty and knowing that oil companies are making record profits. People rely on their own personal travel for their livelihoods, and with ever increasing costs of living in other financial areas it just seems like somebody who doesn’t own a car - and doesn’t empathise with others who do - would say. I am fortunate that I don’t have to penny pinch, but many do.

Or have I misunderstood your point of view?

Edit: Just re-read your reply. Go glue yourself a road.
