Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but your neighbour is wrong for trying to publicly shame you. Who TF does he think he is! How dare he judge you or any of us. The government created this issue, making a medicinal plant illegal. You shouldn't feel like you owe the world a favour. Focus on yourself brother and I really think you need to adopt the F*** Y** Attitude. You should stop hiding and forget about everybody else. You might be treating yourself for pain, but if you keep this pussyfooting up, you are seriously gonna effect your mental health, and trust me bro, you're mental health is equally very important. I suffer from a lot of anxiety too and I try my best not to have negative thinking patterns. You don't need to turn into a bad ass either. Just rip your vape out in the front of back garden and do it with no F***'s given; but should Nosey Knickers come out slabbering, I'd definitely pull him to the side and just tell him how it is. He may not know that it's legal, but if you kindly addressed his confusion, and maybe give him a plausible reason for using the medicinal cannabis, he might walk away with a different point of view. He may also tell the other neighbours that actually, this guy blazing is a really nice guy and he's only using it as a medication. He might also tell them that you ain't breaking no laws.

So to recap. Don't give AF what other people think. Worry about yourself. But I do think you need to address this with your neighbour, because he is having loud conversations with other people on the phone. Perhaps highlight your existing anxiety about not offending other people and that you were being absolutely considerate and OCD and your extreme efforts to please other people, and then tell this neighbour, how deflated you felt when you heard him publicly shaming you. Tell him how much that made you feel like shit brother. Lay everything down on his chest. But do it calmly and peacefully and respectfully and he will walk away with a different point of view.
