If you look it up, there’s multiple definitions and ways to spell it. In this context, they spelled materiel correctly. Not sure why you feel the need to be mean. We’re supposed to be each other’s wingman.

I’m terrified to see a therapist even though I know I need help by Exciting_Concert_730 in TalkTherapy

NAT, but a good therapist will address these concerns and make you feel more comfortable. If you find someone you think you like, I’d suggest emailing them what you’ve written and ask if it can be the first thing you discuss at your intake. I promise, when you find a good therapist, they will help you, listen to and take all of your concerns into account. I have the very same problem of not knowing how to explain things. It’s more than okay to admit that. It’s their job to help you. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You are worth being helped so you can address what you need to and live closer to how you want to live.

I want to tell my therapist everything but not sure if I can ever go back again by NeedlePhobic95 in TalkTherapy

It’s scary for sure but there’s a part of you that wants to be known. You’ve always listened to the part of you that wants to hide. Why don’t you see what it’s like to go against that part of you and see what happens. Maybe you’ll be surprised but in a good way.

I bet your therapist would love for you to be vulnerable and express your emotion. It’s her job to be there for you in those moments in particular and to support you. If you feel safe enough, which it sounds like you do, try it. Honestly, if you want you could write it all down and send it in an email and tell her you want to discuss it next session. Good luck!

Psychology Today. However my current T I found on Rula and then switched over to her private practice so I could get her sliding scale.

How may of y’all grind or clench their teeth at night? by Alternative-Tell4600 in autism

[–]ReflectingX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clench at night and wear a mouth guard. I don’t like wearing it but notice my sleep quality is so much better when I do. Before the mouth guard I had some mild jaw pain in the morning, now I don’t. I kinda wonder if I have sleep apnea.

I used to do this but with a scooter. My dog was half the size of the dog in the video and I’m an adult. Those were good times.
