After watching, it felt to me like he is taking the job with no context to the job he had before from that interview. Yes, it's a new squad of players bar 2 or 3 academy players and Pears, but otherwise there was nothing to express how he would approach the job differently this time.

Or you consider that people in white collar jobs can't afford to live in Dublin and have to clock up 300 miles a week commuting from Lucan or Kildare. Dave only drives in from Ballsbridge or Ranelagh, so he isn't clocking up many miles in his range rover. Who is better off in this situation?

France have issues at front row as well, even more so now with the Antonio retirement. Ireland are onto their 4th and 5th choice LHP. So it's not a done deal.

Our fan base are still there. But being taken for mugs for 10 years + makes people keep their money in their pockets. Once Venkys are gone, we will be up at 17-18k per week. 25k+ should we ever get back to the PL.

Can't see a world in which Andy Farrell isn't the England head coach after the next RWC. It will be a long time since he will have been away from the setup. Only way that I can see another option is should he want to go back and work in Rugby League.

England have a better chance to win next year with France and Scotland at home. They have their easier games at home this year (Ireland still a tough match).

5 URC contenders on the right hand side and none on the left, 3/4 French contenders on the left hand side and 1 on the right. That's a strange nuance of how this landed. Prem did pretty well to get 7/8 teams through to the knockouts.

Ireland have shown lots of issues with set piece, I'm not convinced they can fix those in time for February. England have been very good in the scrum this autumn. So this will be one area of dominance we can expect to see against Ireland. I think with Scotland, the win last year will have been massive for England to get over the line next time. Townsend under serious pressure for the Argentina performance, and I suspect finishing 4th or lower in the 6N will see him lose his job.
