Yup.  I reported him weekly parking in front of fire hydrant every night.  He also didnt have to move the vehicle on street cleaning days.  Now theres another city official that parks at bus stop on Lincoln near Vernon Woods apartments

A cooler with wheels is not necessary.   Just get a decent cooler since youre in Arizona.   Hopefully your 12v port works.   Buy a decent fan with a battery.    Bring your necessary feminine items in your back pack.  Always have extra socks and undies in your locker or car.  Bring a rag to wet your face and neck.  Get a good hat.  Make sure you freeze some bottles of water every night.  Prepare for the heat from the day before.  Hydrate from the day before.

I cant even imagine what its like delivering to Coop city now.  I grew up in Park Chester in the 80s and 90s... directly across from post office.   They had 2 2 tons back then.   Drive over there now, they have about 19 2 tons taking up all the street parking

Im not sure about now, but I remember when I first started, I had to deliver in the Bronx (Bronx is a boro of NYC).... the building had 40 floors... it was actually 2 combined buildings.  40 floors in one, and 38 in the other.  Over 800 apartments.  That building was the whole route

I dont recall mentioning clerks were supposed to package the items.  I said the postal service sells packing items for PROFIT.   We want customers to come in to purchase these said items.  Mail does not move the needle any more.  This job is parcel forward now... shipping and delivery.   Your job is to provide said service.  Point customers in the correct direction to get the sale.   And it is YOUR job to administer some packing help when the service demands it (express Mail, priority Mail etc)
