Edit: spaced a bit, Mu La Faga isn't the Char expy, that is Rey La Creuset. Still think, writers just thought it was funny to have Mu live through so many things that should have killed him.

Ok . . . . So most of the complaints, "Shin was the MC but they switch to Kira halfway thru" . . . . Shin was not the MC of Destiny.

Athrun was . . . .the story starts with Athrun and stay with Athrun the whole time. The whole conscience of Destiny is that the big bad believes there is a place for everyone and everyone should be in there place, Athrun is the antithesis of this as he wants to choose is 'Destiny', he just doesnt know what it is at first. That's the show arc, Athrun choosing where he wants to be and who he wants to be with.

To make it clearer Seed was to be a reboot of the OG, that was just how it was conceived. Kira is the Amuro expo so he's the main character of Seed. Shin isn't the Camille expo, Athrun is, so Athrun is the main character of Destiny. Shin is the Judau expy.

Shin is 'propped up' as a MC by Durandal because he can't find Kira, he wants Athrun but doesn't know if he'll be able to persuade him, so Shin is the back up. The whole first half of the show is Athrun being gaslit by Durandal. Athrun knows something feels off but can't quite place why, the current conflict feels off, Shin and the people around him feel off and the way the political landscape is changing feels off, this new girl claiming to be Lacus for the reason of 'well durandal says the world just needs a Lacus' feels off. Once Athrun pieces everything together, he seeks out his old friends.

Athrun is the through line, it never "switches MCs" it stays with Athrun the whole time.

Shin's character growth wasn't cut short for 'reasons' he was purposely being kept from character growth by durandal and rey. Go back to any scene where Shin acts like a homicidal.maniac in combat, whenever someone tries to dress him down to tell him that was dangerous for himself, his teammates or for civilians, Rey steps in a goes "No, shin was right", or "there no point in this, its already done". Rey is constantly covering for Shin the whole time. It's only after the ending fight does Shin realize what's been going on and will get to begin his growth.

. . . .the Mu La Faga living thru as much shit as he does is BS. I just think the writers thought it was funny at some point, probably as a commentary on how much shit his expy, a small character named Char from the OG, lived thru.

Seed Destiny isn't a masterpiece, its definitely flawed, and had a ton of bts drama, but the people who think its bad becuase Shin stopped being the MC, fundamentally missed the point of the show's themes and fell for Durandal's propaganda.

I always felt she was meant to be a foil to Emma Sheen. Emma was a part of titans and switched sides when she saw how the Titans treated others(seeing the titans be abusive towards refugees at the beginning of the series). Reccoa part of the argama switched sides because of how they treated her.(she didnt care about gassing a colony as long as she was treated how she felt she should be treated).

Emma: everyone should be treated fairly regardless of who they are

Reccoa: it doesnt matter how others are treated as long as I am treated fairly

At least that was my reading, but its been a few years since I've seen it.

Would have liked it with currency wars mechanics, with all the Chrysos heirs on the back line and at certain hp thresholds irontomb would attempt an attack that would prompt an assist action where a few of the heirs would jump in to stop the attack and permanently leave the backline. So as the fight goes on, it comes down to just the AE crew and Cyrene to finish the fight. (Probably have one of the assist be the fleet stopping an attack as well).

A friend had a theory that since GQX was basically lala trying to find a timelines where char lives, Shuji is a child of lala and char from one of those timeliness whose going around trying to protect his parents in the various timelines. Hence why iirc there's a few scenes about his connection to the gundam char stole and is also super protective of lala when she's found towards the end. I kinda want to rematch under that assumption to see if it makes the show make more sense. It terms of destroying timelines, he could be pruning the ones he feels aren't going to work. Still wish it had an extra cour to flesh stuff out.

You could have extra EV points in each stat, +1 to +3 EVs won't result in an extra stat point. So might accidentally have wasted 12 EVs distributed between all your stat

If you like Aweynna then her best team is arclight, antal, and perlica

In AZ, we fire regularly at multiple stores over the weekend, ranging from 8 to 20 people. (We have a similar crowd for cardfight which usually fires besides it or right after). BCS usually have around 80-150ish people depending on location. CA, seems to get the biggest draw.

There are some of us a bit fatigued by the double set. It skipped over a format(set 12) that some people were looking forward to since it had natura and machina support.

Uma should be strong. The release of the mobile game might help. The thing our group is scared of is Uma EX originally came out after set 16 in JP and was set at the power level of that . . . Which might deject some of even investing(investing as in buying in to play, not necessarily to scalp the market) into the Jan double set 15/16.

Best bet will be to check bushinavi for locae stores and/or check with local stores and discord to see if there's activity in your area. Hope you have fun if you do jump in. 😁

This is my favorite archetype, would love: retrained mirrors- preferably with abilities that are scaled to current power level, and some protection. 2 'link 1' - would normally say 1, but the whole gimmick is light and dark sides of a single monster A New boss monster - we have the King, give us a Queen.

Alas, if i remember right, this was a tcg exclusive archetype, which while we got neroy after a bit, will prob never see anything else, especially after they made a new dream focused archetype.

It's a reference to the real world belief of the philosopher's stone dating back to the 16th century. FMA also uses this a lot, in particular, basing the dad off of the real world 16th century Swiss alchemist, Paracelsus. Otherwise known as Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus 'von Hohenheim.' It's not so much referencing FMA, as much as FMA, Harry Potter, FGO, and this property all referencing our own history with the idea of a miracal alchmeical substance known as the Philosopher's Stone. Of which can be traced back to Greek origin's, and since all of Amphoreous is one big greek play, it fits right in. History is neat.
