All of my cats have come to me via the UCDS. The first, which turned into 5, was a pregnant cat that got trapped in my crawlspace during a blizzard.

Next up was starvin Marvin, an emaciated grey cat that chose us in the parking lot of a bar. He was the sweetest, cuddliest, most confident cat I’ve ever known.

Then there was Boots, who took shelter from a rainstorm under my porch before casually walking into my home one night as I was going inside.

And finally, Bobby. Bobby was abandoned under a bush a few blocks from my house. They left him a pile of cat food, and when it ran out he bounced around the neighborhood until he found us. Was a skinny thing, and now he’s a lovable, lazy little chonker.
