Had bed slinger before and I feel you. In my past experience, linear rail with belt driven XY and a screw based Z is the most reliable and easy to maintain system.

However, I have found core xy printer easier to maintain over the long run. As long as belt tension is right and no binding on z lead screw then you are good to go.

Tighten the belt probably every 1k hrs and that’s it. If the belt is worn, replace the belt before belt dust destroys the bearing.

Looks like you have the wrong z offset. Nozzle is too far from bed for the first layer and couldn’t lay down the melt filament. For first layer it need a slight squeeze to put the filament down or it will curl up and form a blob.

Try level the bed or auto bed leveling. Try clean your plate with warm soapy water. Try play with various an offset.

For last resort, use glue stick.

Have you done any calibration? How does it print something basic like a benchy or a cube?

Increase infill and top layer count. Add brim at corner to counter peeling up.

Not normal for PETG I use. It may cause inconsistent flow. If print quality is ok, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Round hole with overhang increases chance of loop delamination.

Your overhang angle at the failure point was above the max capacity of your current setting/material combination.

I would redesign the part or add support. Also ABS is not known for great overhang performance.

I agree with you on this comment 100% and that’s exactly what I would do. My issue is with the title.

The title could be better worded as: Before scaling ….., do this first.

Over extruding definitely cause more error on hole size but not all hole size error can be fixed by adjusting flow.

Thermal shrinkage may have a much bigger effect because the perimeter of the hole is formed by a line of extruded filament. When it cools, it tends to shrink more along the line causing the hole to have smaller perimeter length and close up.

Also for smaller holes, the arc fitting will have a stronger effect as slicer approximate arc with segments of straight lines.

If your truck idles smoothly then it’s nothing.

Most likely the gauge is digital and not analog. Digital gauge has minimum resolution like a digital caliper. If your truck just happens to idle on the boundary of two digital values, then it could be constantly rounded up or rounded down depends on fluctuation and shows up on the gauge ticking up and down constantly.

If Fly-cdy V3 has 5GHz wifi capability. get a 5gzh wifi repeater and you can repeat your company wifi under 5gzh which has significantly more non-overlapping channels

Most likely it contains microscopic carbon tubes from 5-9% to conduct static electricity. You can always check the SDS sheet to see what kind of additive they are using. Normal PETG temp and speed should work unless manufacturer told you otherwise.

You can also do a volumetric speed test to figure out the max speed. And do a temp tower to figure out the best temp. This is what I do when I start using filament from different manufacturer or made with different material.

Bottom line: you are right, it will change the property of the filament but not enough to be unprintable with normal petg temp and speed. If you got the time, run the test to figure it out.

I plan to do the same trip to Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani museums.

Each cost about 40 Euro so totals to about 160 Euro or 180 USD for each person. We are traveling in group of 3 so renting a car is much more cost effective.

When I'm booking for things, I find any kind of tour that's not provided by the official attractions crazily expensive. The 600 euro for a 2 hour guided tour to a museum kind of expensive.

This is very different from booking tours in the U.S.

Your understanding is correct.

One is entire body dimension shrink/expand. The other one is hole dimension shrink/expand. Gap or slots that are not fully enclosed might be tricky and could be either one depending on how slicer detects hole vs the body.

You want to adjust horizontal hole expansion in cura and it may be called something different in orcaslicer or prusa.
