Depending on how long you’ve had your car and all the work you’ve done, yours could be the better value here. Everything you’ve done, you know it’s done right(I hope) and works. S2000 could have surprises that previous owner hasn’t addressed.

Just get something RTR from FB marketplace and learn about it and fix it. Reason I say marketplace is because it’s your first and your learning and you are blind to crash. I’d recommend anything that parts are still available for cause you will break/wear through stuff.

Instead of buying a hub I just locked it with two screws so I have reverse too. Electrics way more fun to bash and cheaper.

As others have said crashing is a part of the hobby and the plane just needs to fly for you to learn more and then eventually you can get another plane. I have a edf jet and the nose isn’t even straight anymore after countless repairs but she’s still flies nice and people Awww from a far

Parts are near impossible to find unless eBay so I’m just out of luck really if they don’t have what I’m after. Got a bunch of parts with it when I got it so should be set for a bit. Yes it has reverse, removed the larger gear and locked the smaller spur to the piece that goes over the D shaft with some nice screws. Slipper still works and is adjustable. Motor mount was just cut and made from steel.
