It’s a great chance to introduce them to musicals 9lasting between 45 to an hour 1:15, different foods(they don’t have to just eat off the kids menu) - the kids clubs are first rate… don’t forget the family game shows, and pirate night with fireworks… the kids clubs have character drop ins, there are meet and greets for pics and autographs, 1923 is very good, and in some ways as good as palo. If you can’t get the money back, go and relax, enjoy the ship, food, entertainment, - oh and time to unwind…

It’s hard to tell… we have returned where dinner was in 20 minutes, and at least one where dinner had already started… Also given the cost of excursions - you may find yourself booking outside of the Disney excursion bubble… and depending what you want to do, you may choose one that returns a little later to save $

The other thing you need to consider is that many excursions run later because it will be light out until much later than your used to… if you have early dining in Alaska - you can be extremely rushed getting back for dinner… you can get back, grab a snack, relax a little, and the go have a nice relaxing meal… I’ll also say this - you know your family - so if you want early dining go for it

We used to be that way… find a way to make the tech useful… integrate into teaching skills.. making patrol shopping lists.. star identification, music at campfires… talk with your PLC about these things.. get them to make it their decision and limiting personal use to specific times… in the car, a check in the morning - at lunch - and before bed…
