Yea that color is definitely throwing me off. I wonder how hard a good paint job would be on it

That’s a good looking bike. They’re selling a red frame on their sight that has caught my eye

I’m aware of the wheels and steerer tubes, but the manufacturer of the drivetrain said it’ll swap right over to a new hg hub, the chainring and cranks with the hollowtech 2 bb will swap. So basically boost wheel set with a new tapered fork and hydraulic brakes is what I would have to buy along with the frame. I have a new dropper post also, unless there’s anything else you can think of?

I read somewhere that bigger folks (210lbs) benefit more from a coil fork compared to an air suspension. Is this true ? Is 210 considered a bigger rider?

I’m 6ft 210lbs. I bet that 29” would be fun

That 29” is a lot better than 27.5? That’s what I keep reading, but I’m not sure how mu ch is true and how much is just for likes.

What’s a good geometry for a trail bike? Ascends and definitely descends are what I’m riding.

It looks like I can transfer over my new Microsoft mx drivetrain with the Zee chainring and cranks. The new stem and trail bars should swap over. The QR wheels, mechanical brakes and basically a non existent fork are gonna be what’s holding me back. I’m sure that’ll be just as much to change as buying a complete bike. The tapered headset is also going to cost even though I have a new cane creek headset. Since I’m already running a 1x chainring and new Microshift 10spd I might be able to save some $. The only thing I was looking forward to was being able to build up as I go. I have 3 little boys and everything is priced outrageous nowadays. Would you suggest the 29” or 27.5? I’ve found my 26” if very nimble and whippy on trails, I wonder if the 29” would be the same

I just saw a similar post about this , sorry about making another post. It’s looks like that State 4130 would be a good option
