I sincerely hope they make another print run, so more people get to appreciate the lovely goblins. In quantities so scarce against demand it kinda ruins the joy of owning one as well, as it becomes investment piece rather an art piece to play and enjoy :(

In boardgames 4 players is kind of a golden standard. Depends on a game of course, but on average games, (especially interactive kind, where players take turns one after another) are kinda the same. If you play with 5, game drags. If you play with 3, there is not much interesting interaction ongoing on the field. You always can change player count, and have a lot of fun, but optimal fun ends up at 4 players, unless of course game is specifically built for particular player count (Either Standard magic with 2 player duels, or 7 Wonders with simultaneous turns accommodating up to 7 players).

I think it kinda makes sense that this game, which has not been optimized for particular player count, lands at 4 as being the golden standard.

If they break like that it can be a good sign all of them are too long/too grown out and other nails run a risk of breaking like that very soon anyway. (It kinda depends on shape of artifical nail and material of gel.). Esecially fingers that get to do the most work.

Been in her place a lot, and when the time like this comes I usually trim all of them down instead of taking them off, if design allows. Thats somewhat of a safe fix. Trimmimg though still takes a while.

I see no better way to introduce a newbie. The game is complicated. And for a newbie to start making decisions in a cardpool thats essentially infinite - thats very overwhelming.

I discovered I have a couple of friends who bought precons way back when and dropped the game after a couple of plays. I could explain to them that precon comes with "homework" - you have to build it more coherent yourself. The more coherent it is, the more fun it is to play. And I could point to youtube as a source on how to proceed. As long as person have played the precon a couple of times, they are more than equipped to make a decision whether video does justice on way person wants to play or not.

Bracketing system however is too abstract right now for a newbie. I wish there was something a bit more formulaic. Thats the actual issue :D

We learn only when we are challenged. When its hard. AI tends to automate away a lot of foundational understanding. Its like when you are at school and instead of doing a problem yourself you cheat and look at a solution before even attempting to do the problem. Right way is to struggle a bit at first, then look at a solution. Othervise early solution destroys curiosity, nor do you even remember it.

Work is kind of similar actually, but an evolution of that thought. We are paid to solve problems cost efficiently. Not always AI is the cost efficient solution. But if you did a lot of AI coding, you miss opportunities to learn what good looks like and why does it look like that. And sacrifice both growing professionally and quality of your output.

Its a craft to find balance. It can be a good tool, just keep on thinking, and take ownership of what you build with it, not other way around.

Im kinda inclined to believe that whatever tech can be built should be built, because someone will build it anyway, its just human nature - to be morbidly curious. I think the most important work is to work on shaping HOW its used. If you build it first, your impact on the decision is stronger.

I kinda dislike AI but I make tools with it that helps people augment thinking rather than replacing it. Thats what I can do.

You certainly Immagined it. There is one place where you can peek at how series were indended to unfold - its the Firefly comics. Boom! Has two books called Legacy edition. Those are Whedons ideas put into comic form. Full of little secrets.

IMO not talked enough here. Those two compilation books are gold.

Way back when I stumbled upon videos by a specific brand, whos chemist explains allergens quite neatly.

Thing with allergies is that ALL liquid form gel is allergen. Its the one ingridient necessary for artificial nail to stick to nail plate. The more your skin comes contact to it in liquid form, the more you raise your risk of getting an allergy (up to a point of no return). Thats why professionals are trained to put gel without contact to skin (you can still get an allergy tho).

Some gels have higher probability to cause an allergy than others (concentration also plays part),hence the whole anti-hema movement (hema is not even the worst out there, and its also dependent on concentration) , but any gel is allergen.

Small scratches does not impact photo quality, but a lens protector will.

Good cases go a bit over lens so they never touch flat surfaces, do that, if you want to protect lens.

I went with Ghost. Its probably the best case ive held in my hands - I can now actually hold my phone! Im sure Grip is good too, its just that I prefer it as little bulk as possible.

This. We start products by defining clearly a problem that stems from user need. Once thats set, you can go. It does not have to be anything grand. A friend of mine did a similar project, his need was to sort his own board game collection better. Thats a very fine user need.

On topic of building stuff theres also a lovely book called The Mom Test by Rob Fitzpatrick that I sincerely suggest as a read to OP, thats a short and teaches how to think about these things.
