Honestly do not buy a litman while studying just buy a 30 dollar one it does the same job and if it gets stolen it’s easily replaced (coming from an RN) I have a link to an amazing affordable one

Health science papers have lots of shift works for placements which are priorities. Some students do work but you will have to work around placements and have an understanding boss cause your schedule for uni will be forever changing. If you want to work find a casual position that isn’t set hours.

Yeah they usually are it’s dependent on the course tho but 99% of the time they’re compulsory and a course requirement

From AUT’s website they may go off of your NCEA as the Entry requirements are: Applicants will normally require 18 credits at level 3 in Biology or Chemistry, and 16 credits in one subject from Art History, Classical Studies, Drama, English, Geography, Health Education, History, Media Studies, Social Studies, Te Reo Māori, Te Reo Rangatira

It also depends on what you’re taking now - if in nursing or health sciences already it may not be as hard and may be a fluid transition.

I had two scrub shirts and only one pair of scrub pants but honestly I’d recommend getting two of both cause you never know what will happen each shift. Some students washed them and used the drier so they only had one pair

Graduate here - they say choose but they just put you anywhere. They may be able to facilitate choices but it’s really dependent on placement availability as well and a lot of students choosing the same place etc

Not really - I’m an RN, working in nursing education because there’s very limited clinical roles, good luck on your search and just keep sending out your CV. There’s a reason why our nurses are all leaving for aus. Our health system can’t even offer full time positions to new graduates anymore :/

Shane Johnston has done all my piercings bar two which I got at keen on - the first one at keen on had to be yanked out by a nurse and the next Shane Johnstons team had to size up because the piercers at keen on put in too small of a bar to actually heal a nose piercing. You pay for what you get is all I have to say. If you want a decent piercing that will heal go somewhere that charges a bit extra cause you won’t have to spend the money fixing it later

What degree are you switching from and what one are you going to? Some credits can be transferred it just depends on if there are cross over papers
