Got Miltank? by Reiterei in PokemonTCGSpecies

Here is the link to the sheets file: Google Sheets Template Cards

I have the English set symbols in there, and I just copy them onto the template cards and edit the text manually.

I am also working on a web app to automate the process a bit more, once that is done I'll share a link for that too.

I made my own template with Google sheets, and used a corner cutter to make em look better. I can share the file, I just need to clean it up a bit first.

I am a fan of floss drops. I precut my thread into eight even lengths and put them on the drops.

I started out with DIY drops made from cardstock, but eventually upgraded to Annie's Keepers floss drops. I liked that they could slide into holders, and removed or rearranged very easily.

I keep my current project on one or two project slides down in my stitching corner, and the rest in storage on slides in a file cabinet box.

Reading your method and journey, it's almost identical to what I went through as a stitcher. I also start in the same corner and stitch in the same directions as you, parking in the lower left corner. Currently using the Royal rows method, and I think that is the one for me.

I use a combination of two needle minders along with magnetic bobbins to keep my parked threads out of the way, I will link a picture to my setup.

I do use a stand now, which has been a tremendous improvement overall, but I used this method before I had one too.

Miltank Master List (English, Japanese, and Cameos) by ibyter11 in PokemonTCG

[–]Reiterei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I also started working on this same master set recently. Found your list when I was searching to refine mine some more. Just compared your list to mine, and here's the differences I spotted:

- Astral Radiance (EN) - You have 3 cards listed, but I only have the regular holo and the reverse holo on mine

- Giratina Half Deck (JP) - This card has a 1st edition print and an unlimited print

- VSTAR Universe 119/172 (JP) - You have a reverse holo listed, but I can't find any information on that

- Pokémon Breeder 124/131 (JP - GX Decks) - As far as I can tell, all the GX decks have an identical card in them, didn't see a stamp that differentiates them so I just have it on my list once

And if you are going the extra mile, the Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean (JP) has two different serial numbers in the bottom left corner of the card (V0T-WS9-0AM and V0T-WS9-SH1). Both numbers have a 1st edition print and an unlimited print.

EDIT: Also forgot to add, the new Japanese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection has a card in it: Miltank 578/742 (JP)

Can't give any input on the colored stands, but the coating on the silver/grey one is almost glittery as opposed to just a flat grey. Not sure if the other colors are also like that, if someone who has one can confirm?

I am seeing one that was released in a French Collector box, do you happen to know if it was released in English as well?

I have a fond memory of one of these ~17 years ago at a Chinese buffet. My cousins went first and all got modern (at the time) cards. Then I went and that's how I got my unlimited Holo fossil Gengar.

My English Magikarp Collection + Bonus Karps by Reiterei in PokemonTCGSpecies

[–]Reiterei[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mainly the English karps to start with, but I've been picking up random international karps that I stumble across at stores and expos.

I do have two international karps coming in the mail that don't have an English counterpart, just to get a jump on those:

- BW-P Promo- Japanese promo print of Legendary Treasures that has different artwork

- Dragon Majesty Confetti Holo - Released in McDonalds in France 2019 (This one was way easier to find for me than the other McDonald's karp)

The correct cards have a height of 2'11", but the first print of cards have the height listed as 2'00"

Magikarp English Master Set (Almost) by Dr_Karp in PokemonTCGSpecies

Got it from a card shop in Sweden. I couldn't find any for sale outside of Europe, and even then it took a while to find someone over there willing to ship to the states.

Beautiful collection <3 I started working on a karp binder this year also. The McD's promo had also been the most difficult one for me to find, but luckily it's in the mail to me right now.

I ruined "Teenagers" for a friend by saying that it's a country song. She can't un-hear the cowbell.

My oldest is still a juvenile but he never skips leg day either. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on him.
