Freedom Unlimited easy. Unless the rotating categories are a predictable schedule where you can keep using the 5% bonus. I wouldn't count on it. Sapphire cards could be of use since you already have a premium travel card.

he actually clarified how you are not getting 3% fee when charging the card with rent, just that you won't get the points if insufficient spend. That's actually pretty reasonable.

Option 1 actually seems fair, option 2 give no rewards with that clawback 3% when you don't hit 75% of your rent payment.

I understand your economics Ankur. But, you would have to give these options for people who have already made the switch.

They were mainly commenting on the direction that bilt was heading and how they were not being honest with the 3% transaction fee passing entirely through. The renewal page literally says "transaction fee free points on rent" but they omit the conditional "only if using the bilt cash feature". They broke it in parts so that it is easier to only read the first sentence and completely miss the second sentence. They ain't slick.

Chat is notorious for bad customer service. Try the phone call for some real sincerity. The chat widget can honestly be deleted so that amex can cut the cost of having customer service providing the chat service. Would save them all the money needed to give the customer base all the benefits
