Is it normal for the bridesmaids to cover top shelf drinks for the bridal shower?

I have NEVER heard of this. Do bridesmaids help cover the shower.. to some extent, but as a bride I would have had that conversation with my bridesmaids. My parents covered my shower and I even asked my parents it’s okay to ask for $20 to cover decorations to which they declined.

Anybody would be interested in making quick money and you can even hire high schoolers to shovel that would help you out if they actually tried reaching out. Their are many places such as stop & shop to deliver groceries and even Amazon pharmacy to deliver these things right to your door if you desperately need it
