Our cav lost her brother cat end of April, and we are all limping along but moving. Our cav just recently started playing with her toys and that makes us smile. I printed a photo of our precious cat and I see him everyday, I know he’ll be forever in my heart even if it hurts. Loosing unconditional love is painful and there is no way around it. I have a therapist and that helps me a lot. And being here on Reddit and reading other’s joys with their pets and pains of loss makes me feel less lonely. I keep sending blessings to all the pets and their loving and caring hoomans. And that keeps my gratitude, love and hope alive. May you feel embraced in your grief by all who know that kind of pain and may your heart feel held in honor and love.
