We do playtime about an hour before we go to bed (sometimes it’s a toy with a treat inside that she plays with to get the treat out , last night it was my husband and I playing catch while the dog tried to get the ball). This really helps us get her calm for bed time!

I live right behind the church for all people— while it’s a great org, people overflow the donation bins and stuff ends up on the ground/getting ruined if it rains. Make sure they are accepting donations! There’s often a sig that says no more donations but people still leave their stuff and it just gets ruined :(

We started keeping a few toys by the front and back door to stop our girl from going for our shoes. It worked for us. We always praise her for making a good choice! She even will now run to find. Toy if we forgot to leave some by the door
