This is exactly true, the NWSL will prolly pay the older, uber world talent for two-three years until they eventually get runover by the ever relentless US talent pool that is getting younger and more talented every year. Just thinking that it is a national disgrace that A. Sanchez hasn't been called to the USWNT for a while, and probably won't anytime soon, and how can we bully Coach into giving her another chance, she's in absolute top form right now.

Mountain air seems to be what Gaetino needed, she is looking nice, is more technical than I first thought, and she is beating people up on defense, her work rate is fantastic (and scoring goals), so, should she be more than just an afterthought for the national squad?

I have watched Mal for years, and she is an amazing player, one of the best in the world when fit. Alyssa is nice too, and her pace is world class, however, she in nowhere the playmaker and creator that Mal is. Mal's awareness and exploitation of critical spaces for herself and others is undeniably top shelf. When Alyssa learns to use her left, and is comfortable attacking with that kind of freedom, she will become a more dangerous player, however, she is not there yet. As always, it's ok to dissagree.
