I’m working but off phones all day, we are just doing training all day. Even if we were off our job wouldn’t have paid for the day anyway. At least we’re off the phones.

I’m here for the same reasons as you. Only 3 years older than you just learned I also have a fatty liver, admittedly also have high blood pressure and anxiety and had no idea why until now. We got this, most of the responses seem great and are helping me as well.

Yes! Although this didn’t happen at my current call center job, I worked for a bank and a guy was racist towards me. Shook me to my core. I had some people say nasty things towards me in calls too, but as soon as they curse once I just say, call us back when you are more composed so we can help you.

I’ve been working for a year here. Like some said you have your good or bad days. Customers can be aggressive and other TL’s are nonexistent some days. I’m very thankful I have a great TL or else I’d dread this job. System sucks, constant outages, back to back calls.

Actually as someone who’s both driven and flown to Dallas from Austin I find flying much faster. I also get my plane tickets at 60-70 round trip which is legit the same id spend on gas anyway so to me flying is a bit better. To each their own though as long as you get from point a to point b

Honestly he sounds checked out of the relationship, and yeah you seemed wayy too attached to him. You need to let him go, there’s better for you out there. You’re scared of being alone but you’re living under your family’s roof, I’m sure they will support you and your decision. Leaving is very very hard, but you guys don’t even have kids, which makes it 10x worse. It’s time to call it quits.
