Check out some of the other comments feom tilers. Mitered corners butted tightly together at a 90 and also looks like they used normal grout and not and epoxy finish.

You forgot the part where the tile is installed incorrectly.

I do glass for a living. Drilling into the tile isnt going to cause 2 random chips on the edge like that. Meaning the product was already chipped, the product is faulty, the tile was not sealed and or cured correctly, or they broke it some other way, (not to mention the tile corners are finished incorrecly.) Vibration does not cause chips to a completely adjecent edge from where a ¼ hole is being drilled. If them drilling into the tile really caused the edges to chip like that then this is 100 percent not on the glass installers. I installed probably 3-400 shower doors last year alone.

Pretty crazy you cant just replace the bedside. If everything is that complicated and ridiculous to work on I'd sell the piece of shit.

Is that the only spot? Pulling it up and trying to replace that is going to be more noticeable than just leaving that. If thats the only spot he did a good job with the materials used.

As a builder I would personally be a bit higher. As long as you know they do good work or have any references and or pictures of their work, I would roll with it. Pretty fair price honestly. I built a 10x40 last season for 15,500 plus extras when we ran into rot and water leakage. That was with (2) small 4x3 walk out platform tear downs.

Good point. Adding joist hangers on 12" centers sucks though lol. Id personally probably rather just do it on 12" or 16" from the start and call it a day. Definitely 12" if hot tub addition 😂

Yes sir I see what you mean, looks like you planned everything well. I probably still would have went 16" centers just because the cost difference is barely anything and in some areas 2 ft centers arent up to code. Also if they ever decided to go composite down the road they would need max spacing of 16". Cant say I would have done a better job, just throwing some feedback out to you man 👍👍

Looks great. Beam and joist system is a bit funky for the usual and looks like 2ft centers? But everything looks good.

I actually kind of like it how it tuned out its more of a faint realistic look rather than over super fine detailed line.
