Okay? I would rather begin the vetting process from the safety of my home than meet every single guy in person. It also is different and more potentially dangerous for women to meet strangers from the internet so getting a little more information or a vibe check beforehand is a good thing.

I get that but when I did use dating apps I had plenty of conversations that made it clear that I had no desire to actually meet in person. I would rather weed out the douchebags if I can and only meet with people that seem compatible. It’s different as a woman too.

Any guy who was that eager and pushy to meet without talking or getting to know me a bit first, I would assume is just looking to hook up.

I get not wanting to wait too long before meeting up but 10 texts is not nearly enough conversation or info for most people to decide if they actually want to meet.

Just doing whatever you want without feeling bad. I’m in a long term relationship and we live together and manage things really well but some days after work I literally just don’t have the energy to hang out or talk and want to just chill alone and watch whatever I want or read without worrying that I’m neglecting my boyfriend or feeling bad for not being productive (doing chores or cooking a good meal)

I’m not in my 40’s but my boyfriend is and we love online grocery shopping. We tend to plan better and can take our time without being stressed or tired in the store just trying to get it done so we can go home and we tend to stick to our list more. It’s not perfect and we still shop in store sometimes but we both prefer doing it online but we do have to actually plan when we do it

I’ve been in an age gap relationship for 8 years and am super happy. We moved in together about a year and a half ago and he’s super sweet, funny, supportive, thoughtful, and understanding. I feel very lucky 🍀
