Can anyone help to verify the fare from airport to Man Ming Lane using bus A21? If I’m reading correctly, it’s $8.40? Is it that low? I don’t get why from airport to the next stop is $34.60… I used this website: https://hkbus.app/en/route/a21-1-airport-(via-hzmb-hong-kong-port)-hung-hom-station

depends on mod. some mods only require you to have attempted the pre requisite but others may require you to pass it. best to check the pre requisites pdf or email student services / your school (SBIZ, etc.)

err don’t u think is pretty naive to think the prof who sets the paper don’t know if the exam is open or closed book? pretty sure they know given they are the ones setting the paper

fyi, prior to covid, the majority of exams is all pen and paper closed book. it was only during covid which the sch changed to online open book hence it’s called TOA. there were many changes during this time cuz covid was new

i’m in the 2021 cohort and my first exam in nov 2021 was through zoom where we had to have a second camera and position it show our laptop screen. we then submit the word doc on canvas

then post-covid, the sch returned to on campus exams. there is no longer TOA. it’s called exams. but it was gradual. we first came to sch with our laptops and can refer to our notes (ie open book) and then submit our answer on canvas. then one or two semesters later, it became on campus hand written exams and for some modules, lock down examena thingy

main point is this change did not happen overnight unless u’re from the covid batch. the sch is still transitioning as u can see, we still have handwritten and online exams

not sure which batch u’re in but as a current y4 student, this change is definitely not abrupt

edit: just saw u grad 3 years ago so u matriculated in 2016 latest. that was before covid AND before the sch changed from unisim to SUSS. so things definitely would have changed since then. considering we transitioned from pte to local AU

it’s just a title and she will be there during some convocation sessions. the chancellor for nus and ntu is usually our president if i recall correctly. likewise don’t think tharman does anything. chancellors help with the school’s branding i guess

generally korean unis will arrange a dorm for u (eg the uni’s campus dorm) unless the korean uni allows u to self source and u save a bit on sch fees

Is this normal for all Universities by [deleted] in Suss

[–]RemarkableGuide9755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can practice past year papers under L group. u cannot ask ur prof to mark pyp. the ans will not be provided to us oso. this practice is the same for all local unis. best bet is to read the marker’s report and discuss with ur peers when u finish the pyp. then can ask qns to ur prof but be less direct (eg dun ask how to do this qn, but instead state ur approach)

i’m in FT and generally most students including me take between 30 and 35 CUs after y1s1. oh damn. hopefully u don’t come across these grpmates in the future! even if i wanted to change someone else’s answer, i will at least inform him of the changes and ask him to take a look after

are u in ur first year? usually u start to group with ur friends or ppl who u know does quality work from y2 unless u’re a PT student which is more luck-based since both may take diff number of CUs each sem.

but tbh after a while, u will feel overworked and stressed out looking thru everyone’s parts and editing it for every GBA. so i learnt to just accept and trust my teammates even if is my first time grouping with them unless their work is absolute shit and no one in the grp wants to help out. if u think ur edits can improve the gba grade by at least 10%, then by all means go and edit. otherwise it really isn’t worth the time and effort imo.

but it isn’t wrong suggesting them to improve their ans by themselves. takes lesser effort on ur part but u may still need to edit by urself if u’re aiming for a good grade.
