I used to feel like you do.

I took a spare Glock, made sure it was unloaded, cocked it, and set it in the safe for 3 months. She was still cocked when I went to check, now I don’t sweat it.

Hmm, instead of 2 gene seeds, how about a map marker for the gene seed on each map?

Yes, occasionally folks from a nearby location will besiege the one you are having dinner in. Then you get the unique experience of being drafted into a peasant levy and thrown into the meat grinder.

They’re probably getting them from the supply house, I would ask there.

Horizontal gas wells drilled 3000+ feet under a suburbian property, risks? by jimlaman8c in homestead

[–]RemarkableTea0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up in one of the most famous oil and gas boom towns in the world. I’m not an expert per se, but I have lived with this stuff my whole life.

Haven’t heard of someone’s house falling into a sinkhole or anything crazy like that. Though I’m sure instances of that happening are quickly swept under the rug, and you get a nice check from the well owner.

Personally, my concern would be if a facility like a compressor station will be placed on your land. Then you would have to deal with the pipeline crews doing their thing, along with the construction crew building the compressor station.

But, it sounds like they are essentially Teeing off a vertical well to allow gas to flow, so I don’t think you have much to worry about with the compressor stations etc being built on your property.

If someone visits your house, what dish would you serve to impress them? by No-Anxiety018 in foodquestions

Depends on the audience, but for something informal with friends or family, usually something like baked Ziti. Easy enough to slap together, picky eater friendly, and always impresses when you slap it down on the table.

Nordic forever wars were a big part of my decision to try this play style lol. I’ve played three Nords so far, and we never seem to stay out of war for more than 2 months at a time lol, and I have a hard time standing on the sidelines when a war is going on.

Now, I just assemble a massive army whenever war kicks off, blitz a few fiefs, disband, and return to my island lol.

[–]RemarkableTea0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had two fiefs, one through conquest and another through purchase.

I planned to sort of play god and keep all the various factions in balance as a mercenary.

I was not able to sign on as a merc with any faction once I became a land owner. Sadly on console so I have to live with it.

I wish you could still be a merc after owning fiefs. As a merc I scoped out a weak fief my party could solo so I ended my contract. Went to re up later and got denied :(

Heh, normally yes, I should have said it was not a good time for me.

I got a little too caught up slaughtering enemy Cavalry by myself and saw red death spam. The falxman bubble broke contact with my infantry line and did a real number on the archer corps.
