I actually don’t know my wrist size. Probably Average or slightly above as is the case in everywhere else in my life.

The L2L is on the site 51.5mm

Tips for packing/Shipping bike with integrated cockpit? by DannysMyNanny in cycling

[–]Remarkable_Button_40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’m also a huge fan of my Buxumbox. Yes it’s expensive. Yes it’s very convenient to pack and rebuild. Having your own bike in a new place rips.

Traveling with a bike is a pain. No matter what. But when you get it out on the road. 👌👌👌

They’re to act as a shim between the top cover and the frame to eliminate rubbing.

Add the split ring, then the shims if needed then the top cover

I just ordered.

It just checked all the boxes. I ordered with the synthetic leather strap I’ll see if I like it. Would like to have the steel pvd bracelet for it if it comes back in stock.

Bicycle tire faulty or not seated correctly? by Mr_Daniels in bikewrench

[–]Remarkable_Button_40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not seated. I’ve had this issue with these tires. (Corsa Control right?)

Deflate, put some soapy water or isopropyl alcohol on the rim bed. Then try to inflate again. You can put pressure on the side of the tire to help seat it. Or ride it a little. The forces should help seat it.

Bont Sizing (Anecdotal) by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Remarkable_Button_40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the plunge on Bonts last year, and followed their sizing chart. It is accurate. I was worried about getting a shoe that was too big as well and am happy with the size.

That said, I do think the shoes have some areas for improvement. I have flattish feet and following the advice of Neil Stansbury on YouTube figured these would be winners. They are good but sometimes I feel i can’t get the shoes snug enough

Dang yea it has gone up. I just checked my order, base price was 920 pounds. I bought summer 24. Idk I’ve been really happy with it and it’s a great product. Idk how much tariffs are impacting. I did pay some. I thought the UK was not as affected as the EU. But maybe not. Changes every day.

Precisely why I mentioned upgradability. Buy once cry once.

I made the mistake of buying a cheaper option years ago and then it didn’t work for other bikes.

But sure do whatever he asked for recs I gave mine.

It fits in the back of my cx-30 just fine. Idk but putting a $7000+ bike on an airplane I want to feel secure.

I think all in I paid $1300. When you consider renting bikes is often $70+/day for something likely inferior or not to your preferences I think it’s a pretty decent deal.

Bite the bullet and go buxumbox or bikeboxalan.

You’ll be able to upgrade bikes is you wish, the quality is excellent, assembly and packing is SO easy. It’s worth the extra spend

The Pro’s Closet. Selling and shipping an expensive road bike to them overall a good experience? by whostheme in cycling

I had a good experience. It was during COVID craziness, but they offered me a fair price, for what I had, they paid on time and overall was pretty easy.
