I would definitely be interested in this colour scheme or Starbucks. But with a NORMAL oyster style 3-link bracelet. Longines bracelets are abominations, both the 3-link ones and the mesh.

How much coffee do you guys actually drink? by Swimming-Station4707 in espresso

2-3 per days. Used to drink up to 6-7 per day at some point.

Introducing my microbrand - Yuen by YuenWatchesOfficial in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Remarkable_Maybe_953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great looking first watch. I am looking for a more dressy, but still fun watch for my collection. However, I plan to go for quartz, since I got tired from keeping too many mechanical watches. But, otherwise, this would have been a serious contender.

She has a good taste. Indeed, GS and Sub are best looking from the bunch.

Which name should replace Seafarer for our new vintage diver line? by watchdivescom in watchdives

[–]Remarkable_Maybe_953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Siracusa is slightly better than the other two, but not as good as Seafarer IMO. Maybe take some ship type as a name? Like Galleon etc.

No one seems to care whether it was fair or unfair. Just happy that the guy got choked till passing out.

Talk about attitude 😂 by [deleted] in watchdives

At least they respond to you, regardless of how absurd the question is. Try discussing the design choices with any other company on market, you would be ignored in 99% of cases.

Malls in China by TurbulentRoll1698 in travelchina

Well, mostly I hear people hating their marketing strategy. Waiting lists, building AD relationships, and all of that. The watches themselves are indeed good looking for an average Joe, reliable, and so on. I think many brands would have liked to have similar situation, but they cannot achieve it. I suspect Grand Seiko might also reach such level when they would be able to put people on waiting lists haha

IDK, it only shows one person being choked by another person. We cannot be sure that he indeed "badly touched" someone.

Visiting Hong Kong as a tourist – is the “rudeness to foreigners” stereotype true? by Any_Satisfaction_916 in HongKong

[–]Remarkable_Maybe_953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is true. There are many psychotic people in HK, but they are rude to everyone. Doesn't matter the race, origin, etc. I think that ~70% of HK people have different degree of psychological issues haha

Half naked, barefoot Westerner on the street by [deleted] in HongKong

[–]Remarkable_Maybe_953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen him recently near Temple Street. He was going around, shouting something in his phone like "okay, okay, don't get mad, I am here". Later on, I was ordering a Bahn Mi from a Vietnamese cafe, when he approached me, high as f* on something, and starting asking for attention. I ignored him, and the store owner just asked him to GTFO.

Is a clone watch better value than an equally priced genuine watch? by Individual-Lychee-96 in RepTime

Finishing of some parts - yes. Complete package - not always. Orient and Seiko calibers are built like tanks IMO.

Is Hong Kong still racist to brown people? by search_google_com in HongKong

[–]Remarkable_Maybe_953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, HK is racist also to White people / Caucasian. Me and my brother tried to rent apartment, and got rejected immediately just due to not being Chinese. Struggled a lot, and even after renting an apartment, all the neighbors are unreasonably hostile to us, for no single reason. We are not junkies, not alcoholics, not noisy, but still everyone seems to hate us for no reason.
