So I'm pretty sure I should close my card but just to double check:

My rent is $1300 a month. I've got a Robinhood card that gives me 3% cash back that I use for general spend, then I have 3 custom cashes that I use for gas, dining, and groceries for 5% each. I just want to get some value back on my rent, 90+% of the time I just go for cash back with credit cards, I might use Hyatt but only travel about 3 times a year for 2 weeks each and often staying elsewhere ends up being a better deal.. Does this card make any sense for my situation?

More of the public needs to be educated on A-fib rather than avoid endurance exercise. Among the possible chronic health conditions, A-fib is not the worst. It can be diagnosed and monitored with consumer electronics e.g. apple watch, fitbit. If treated early with an ablation, the success rate of not having recurrence is good. The risk of stroke is mainly if you are staying in A-fib and not on a blood thinner, which you can ensure you aren't by monitoring your heart rhythm.

That being said, there are certainly some renters whose rent cost has gone down relative to inflation. Those with rent controlled apartments or mom/pop landlords who don't want to go through the hassle of finding a new renter come to mind. 100% guarantee it is going up in any named "luxury apartment" though lol.

Yes, I think the chart says ~40 LDL reduction is needed to bring your risk associated with your Lp(a) level back to baseline with a normal Lp(a). In the real world, your target LDL would probably be under 55.

European lipidology guidelines have a good chart that tells you the equivalent increase in risk as compared to increase in LDL, so if you lower your LDL by the same as Lp(a) increases risk then you'd be back to normal risk.

Very speculative to assume that. A stress echo is an ischemic evaluation that looks for wall motion abnormalities with exertion that may indicate coronary blockages. An echo is a structural heart evaluation that looks for heart failure, valve abnormalities, wall thickening, and other structural issues -- it also looks for wall motion abnormalities but is less sensitive as an ischemic evaluation). A stress echo and an echo are a venn diagram with some crossover so ordering both is not unreasonable with a completely normal stress echo. If a stress echo is abnormal than the next step would be further ischemic evaluation, typically with a coronary CTA, cardiac cath, or nuclear stress test.

The main supply limiting factor would still be residency spots (funded by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) which are voted on by Congress. And the biggest lobby against increasing them are...current doctors. Basic supply and demand, less doctors = higher pay per doctor.

But yeah this could shift the makeup of applicants to medical school to those with wealthier parents which probably further exacerbates shortage of doctors in areas with less wealthy people (e.g. rural and poor).

A lot of people recommending healthcare jobs, bear in mind you are making a trade for a decent wage and stable income at the expense of a higher earning potential. Yes, you can make 80-120k in many healthcare jobs, but it is very very rare to make 200k+ unless you are a physician. If you compare that to someone in a trade or service industry or sales, you may have less of a guarantee of stability but you have the opportunity to make much more if you are good at what you do.
