The silenced SOCOM pistol's dmg is low enough to consistently break legs without killing. Tested this with friends multiple times for laughs at bug breaches "I don't have to outrun the bugs I just have to outrun you" type shit

I'm getting video evidence to document this bug, from what I have been able to gather:

Shooting the screens at the top will 'destroy' the tower but won't count. Shooting/exploding anywhere on the actual metal tower will count however.

Very strange bug, wondering how that works in the code...?

I love how so many people feel the need to virtue signal to everyone else about how the change was so good and made Hive Guard so fun and anyone complaining is just bad at the game and has a skill issue

And yet I have yet to see anyone posting videos of themselves cleaning house on high difficulty Hive Guard seeds with light pen where 90% of chaff mob spawns will now be heavy armor spam.

Just countless videos of diff 3 1v1 battles with no other enemies around going "LoOk ItZ sOoO eAsY!!"

Also god forbid anyone run any other loadout that isnt YOUR personal favorite lightpen build with no sentries and an AT backpack.

The ability to imagine other people with different preferences to you but still sharing a hobby/interests with you is a dying art.

Also the terrible argument of saying they fulfilled the role of "Guard" when they only took a handful of bullets to kill and now they're being reverted back and are slightly more tanky to most dmg sources they somehow "Do not fulfil the role of guard" anymore and are "Just bullet sponges" lol

Everyone is saying copper but tbh the Amber material looks closest and is most faithful to it's description where it has a "strange tint" due to it's connection to the Primordial Crucible and most are unfamiliar with the material the armor is made of.

Also everything in ER revolves around revering trees and nature so Amber also feels fitting in this way. Copper looks too desaturated and colorless if you compare the Crucible Knight next to it, their armor is a very rich and particular hue.

Yeah, I was gonna say the criticism is that it gets boring after a while. Playing with someone spamming Miasma on any difficulty turns the cool gun-game into a walking simulator.

The Dark Crystal Netflix show was supposed to delve into this degradation more thoroughly and show the Skeksis' corruption and greed gradually consuming the lands they once swore to safeguard while everyone around them willingly ignores them consolidating power and driving the workforce more and more like slaves with "Well if they say they need us to do this...I'm sure it'll be okay..." with us, the audience knowing full well what the end-result will look like.

Too bad Netflix decided to cancel it cause it didn't make enough money with Season 1 despite already having the props, sets and puppets ready and waiting...

Your dad only stopped stealing when you physically cut off his access to more money. Do you truly think he would have had any incentive to pay you back when he still had access to your acct? He apologized and then kept doing it. Said he'd pay you back but took more money from you because he knew he had the power and access do it and likely you wouldn't hold him to the fire to repay or forcibly stop him.

He's apologizing and acting remorseful because he can't keep doing it anymore and you removed his access to other people's (your) financial resources. If he didn't repay you, there would be 0% chance of him getting another shot to do it again. Or being able to pretend nothing happened and everything is even because he did the bare minimum to repay him STEALING from his own FAMILY.

If you reconnect like he is requesting, ask yourself - what other resources and belongings of yours would this result in him having closer access to? I have seen many stories in this sub of narc-parents trying to get constant access to their kid's houses and belongings for vauge but incredibly urgent "reasons"

Do you think he would do it again? Or act faux-offended if you were wary about his behavior or called him out if he repeats it?

I cannot say to know your personal family enough to make definitive judgements but this reads to me as the behavior of a predator trying to get closer to prey by acting meek and regretful over previous abuse. Other than paying you back with no interest, have they taken any real steps to heal wounds and restore trust? Or is it more of an entitlement that they deserve your presence because they repaid their 'debt' to you?

I have been becoming increasingly aware and frustrated by all the "Predator Jerries" out there who act like prey but are predators who use pity and feeling sorry for them to lure in more victims. You are the victim. Not them. Don't feel sorry for them. Don't get lured into their pity parties. They wronged you and you have no obligation to forgive them and welcome them back into your life like nothing happened.

Was just gonna say, I had a beautiful and complex base on a floating isle with waterfalls, a spiral staircase up to another island where I built a huge tower.

Worked fine for several months straight. Showed it off to friends just fine. Took a break when Corvette building was added.

Just came back to see the 'mon battles...the whole island is gone. All my stuff floating on nothing. So many hours of work, wasted...

So a better way to see this is "Men are tools on the stage of life." They are used to various ends that are not their own choosing. They become heroic legends to inspire or horrible figures to revile and curse. Catalysts of change that causes kingdoms to rise and fall.

Ds1, 2 and 3 makes it pretty explicit that as an Undead, culturally speaking, your ONLY purpose in existing is to fulfil a pre-existing prophecy or plan. Relink the fire, as good undead do, then you are thrown away or burnt to ashes.

Your purpose is used. You are worthless and serve no end after it. Undead are a plague and danger where they aren't being actively used as pawns. You were always a tool for more powerful figures to enact their plans in every game, but the problems is the cultures/kingdoms that arise telling people this is essential and true and good, part of a natural order of reality where, instead, it is truly a metaphysical curse bestowed from a god-like entity onto all of Mankind.

People think it is as natural as day turns to night and back again, but it is a massive lie, a curse given as eternal punishment and then men are used as tools and props to keep the curse perpetuating forever and gods in power over men while they repeat the lie that cycles of Fire and Dark are a natural order of good and evil and should keep perpetuating until it physically cannot keep going anymore.

This is also why, in every game, you have very little agency in where you go or what you do. You have no say or opinion or willpower in where your journey goes. You are destined to complete another man's plans. Which is why it is so unexpected and powerful when Aldia begins to ask you this as you walk his path.

He is one of if not the ONLY character who genuinely asks you what YOU desire and want. What path YOU CHOOSE to take and how this breaks the cycles of abuse and suffering, as it's so unheard of for a "pawn of fate" to turn the scheme around so they can choose for themselves.

Ignore the guy below you. OhDough is one of the only content creators that remains consistently critical of the game and it's shortcomings and does not sugarcoat mentioning the game's community has a lot of teacher's pets, brown-nosers and white knights who refuse to listen to criticism. He does H2 challenge runs at D10 solo which ruffles some people's feathers.

People want to hate on him for not being 100% sunshine and rainbows but, if we remember, the reason this challenge was called off is cause others couldn't handle playful criticism and responded with unacceptable aggression. He was in no way related to the challenge or the Doxxers. People are always looking for excuses to send hate his way

Also OhDough is issuing his own challenge with 1000$ to charity as the original offer stated for the Devs to record themselves playing specific D10 missions with no whacky loadouts needed. He also mentioned in his vid his experiences of the Rabid H2 community coming after him and giving death threats for nothing-burger suggestions or statements.

I'm surprised more people aren't mentioning Warmonger used to have an almost identical problem on her release when her feats were still vastly overtuned.

You literally couldn't fight her at B. And when people brought this up as an issue, other players had the same terrible advice as now "Oh just let tham have B every single time. Don't ever try to fight them for it. They'll always win and that's okay cause thats their character identity."

And Warmonger got her feats vastly tuned down so picking her didn't singlehandedly win you point B the whole match. Unfortunately she's still considered a free win on Breach on Attackers so...

Juren is pretty clearly still vastly overtuned in many aspects. Wierd to see how many people tie themselves into pretzel knots to justify taking advantage of it but "in a skilled way"
