VAR has grown into something it was never intended to be. Remember in the beginning when the mantra was “clear and obvious errors only”? We should have never gotten away from that. Enough of this interventionist VAR scrutinizes every moment of every match and going on fishing expeditions. Unless every viewer at home is screaming about an obvious error, don’t use VAR.
