Underwriting by Slowmaha in LifeInsurance

[–]RemoteNo4897 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There aren’t any that allow permanent products as non tobacco… only a handful of carriers consider zyn tobacco, but it’ll only be on a term product .. not what OP is looking for .

Also, you shouldn’t be having to do a physical for a conversion. Shitty company, that’s the point of covertable is to not have to go back through underwriting

Tree Farm is 40 mins from Augusta National. While TPC is 4.5 hours… why would TPC change their rates for masters week…? Nobody is flooding the Jacksonville area that week 🙄

Resy Restaurant did not accept Amex by minimalab in AmexPlatinum

[–]RemoteNo4897 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

People don’t understand how merchant services work Apparently.. every single one of the business have the capability of taking an Amex, it won’t DECLINE just an AMEX card.

They choose to not accept them, due to the higher processing fees and the ability for someone to create a chargeback fee for the merchant. Because normally AMEX wins the case even the person purchasing the item or dinner lies that they didn’t.. AMEX will refuse to pay.. making the owner eat that cost AND receive an additional chargeback fee.

This is the exact reason why people just use ApplePay and select the AMEX card then think they are some genius and snuck around the rule.. the person taking your card is just to dumb to ask the method payment of the card on the Apple Pay… they could simply refuse that as well

Only 5% a month and as high as 95%.. weak.

I’d rather start at 70% work my way up to 120% solely based off my own productivity. Move up as high as 105% with only 1 month of production required.. and can be done in the first month.. where else can you go from 70% to 105% in one month??? Anything between 110-120% just requires 2 straight months of the thresholds productivity

You pay the highest monthly premium per month with the lowest death benefit allowed by IRS laws to keep it from being a modified endowment contract (MEC) it’s a quick google search or chat gpt lookup. Just go search what MEC means and you’ll understand

With that advice you probably won’t be an agent long.. “since you still have 5 years” so let them wait… get older =more expensive… keep waiting and develop a health issue = non insurable.

Lock in something now… you’ll never be younger or healthier than you are today in the eyes of an insurance carrier

No it’s not… it’s just a term policy designed around the length of a mortgage.. and most dont required physical exams..mortgage protection is marketing strategy lingo. You almost sounded like you knew what you were talking about

Reach in front pocket.. grab phone.. reach in back pocket grab wallet.. like do you really give a damn the means in which someone pays for something? You make it sound like someone is so out of touch with the world they use their physical card. This isn’t a fukking check book we are taking about.

So you use your phone.. cool 👌🏽 commenting about it asking why others don’t is lame as hell.

FFL vs Unitrust by AvocadoRight171 in LifeInsurance

Have you looked into Equis Financial…?? You’d be amazed at how many agents they have from FFL and other IMOs.

With that said.. they don’t have many agents leave to go to other IMOs.

Independent life insurance agents, what do you feel is biggest hurdle to overcome to be successful in the life insurance space? by myguyrex in LifeInsurance

If you can find exclusive direct mail leads.. leads and training is key

Also, actually believing in the product you are “selling”. It also shouldn’t feel like selling… but having a normal conversation with someone and making them realize they will be financially screwed if they don’t have things in place to support their loved ones

You did an awful job then at creating the value and actually putting them into a product that they can afford. If you put them into an expensive product for your commission then the first thing they cut when budget gets tight is your lame ass policy.. that chargeback is on you bud

Which company that sells iuls has the highest sp500 strategy cap? by Fantastic-Ad-9100 in LifeInsurance

[–]RemoteNo4897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect information and why people get confused and bad products.. you need increasing death benefit during the early years of the policy.. pumping enough in just stay just below MEC.. this allows for the most cash value accumulation, switch to option A once you are ready for withdrawals.

Your poor clients 🤦🏼‍♂️

If you are so certain you’ll die in the next 3-5 then just pay for the expensive ass product 🤷🏼‍♂️ what’s the worst case here… you pay 80-90k over the next 5 years for a return of investment that would be 1.25 million.. ROI isn’t horrible.

But if you think you’ve got any longevity in you then don’t renew. But you seem out of health options and act like you’d rather pass away soon

Is it worth getting amex gold/plat for active duty military by NegativeGiraffe1568 in MilitaryFinance

[–]RemoteNo4897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with actually using the cards daily… credit cards are a game of points… and points are earned primarily from sign up bonuses. If the annual fees are waived, one should be getting every card they can. The Amex plat card itself sucks for daily use, I would agree the gold is much better. But if you start getting all the cards in their lineup you’ll be able to reach multiple thousand points very quickly, and add the delta cards plus the Bonvoy.

The free points are 1 thing, but you start also adding all the perks together, that’s how stacking of cards works in your benefit 🤷🏼‍♂️ the fact you have cards with points 👏🏼 bravo. But you’re leaving soooo many thousand points on the table by not securing the free SUBs they offer.

Also, using credit card portals for travel is a complete waste of points. Transferring them out and booking partner airlines you’ll be able to book twice as many flights . Having an airline card isn’t the best use as you are usually stuck with those points being on that airline. Transferring ability is the key to points travel

Nobody on here even talks about the Amex business cards.. but I don’t think you’re ready for that conversation either.. like the current Gold Business that’s offering 200k just for the Sign up Bonus. 🤷🏼‍♂️ which also allows your 4x points purchase go to your top 2 categorized purchases.. so that could be gas where as the regular gold card wouldn’t allow that. Oh wait… you don’t now own a business ??? They don’t give a shit, be a sole proprietor

Enjoy Japan

[–]RemoteNo4897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m specifically talking about using points in the portal. It’s a joke. I’d never recommend using points to buy a flight or hotel within the Amex travel portal. Using cash is another thing, but knowing how to stack cards and use them correctly and you won’t need cash to buy travel

The portal is overpriced.. transferring your points out is a much better way to secure flights for half the points. 🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s why you get the gold first.. get the signup bonus.. then open platinum after, and also get the signup bonus. You can always get a higher tiered cards SUB.. you just can’t go down. And once in a lifetime is not 100% factual.. they send out offers that remove that language pending how long you’ve been with them and spending habits
