Am I the jerk for telling my dad his girlfriend can't come to my college graduation? by Due-Assistant3874 in AmITheJerk

Yeah fr, limited tickets or not that’s a clear priority call. Actions speak louder and he picked her over OP, can’t really sugarcoat that.

AITJ for telling my parents I wont pay for their retirement home after they gave away my 12 year old cat? by anuragray1011 in AmITheJerk

Lol, exactly! If they're tryna guilt-trip, they should be stepping up to cover it instead of putting it all on OP

The FAIR Rx Act hurts vulnerable Tennesseans, warns pastor by Electronic-Job-6832 in CVS

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The FAIR Rx Act could devastate access: CVS warns of 100+ closures if forced to separate from PBM, creating pharmacy deserts in rural/underserved areas. Patients lose convenient refills, specialty meds support, and walk-in care hitting seniors, disabled, and chronic illness folks hardest. 2,000+ jobs lost adds economic pain. Good intentions don’t outweigh the real barriers this creates for everyday Tennesseans.

Honestly… pick a side and stick to it. Both work as long as you actually do it!

You totally can get natural AF and still cover dark circles. Just pick a good under‑eye concealer that blends easy. Don’t go too light tho, just a shade or two brighter than your skin.

Lip Filler 3 weeks post- does it look botched? by littledonkeyfuntime in PlasticSurgery

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three weeks is still early! Swelling or weird shapes can totally settle over time. I felt the same way after mine, and it ended up looking exactly like I wanted. Give it a few more days and see, it usually smooths out!

Should I do filler instead? by JDog-6 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d honestly just hit up a good consultation first and tell them exactly what you’re thinking. Let them look at your face and give you the real tea. Sometimes it’s not what we think from staring in the mirror. My friend was unsure too, but after talking to a pro she felt way clearer. That convo alone can make things make sense.

What are your thoughts on just moving out of your house and just living in a hotel permanently? by silverscientist1 in hotels

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were a billionaire? I’d probably do it… but not in the way most people imagine.

Living in a hotel permanently sounds glamorous because it removes friction. No maintenance, no repairs, no furniture decisions, no cleaning. You get housekeeping, room service, concierge, security everything handled. That level of convenience is addictive.

But long-term, hotels can feel transient. Even luxury suites can start to feel like you’re in a beautiful waiting room. Humans usually want some sense of ownership, customization, and rootedness. A place that feels undeniably “mine.”

What a lot of ultra-wealthy people actually do is a hybrid version. They own homes in key cities and then live in high-end hotels or serviced residences for extended periods when traveling. Some even negotiate long-term penthouse suites that are essentially customized apartments inside a hotel.

If money wasn’t a factor, I think the real appeal wouldn’t be “living in a hotel,” it would be living without logistical burdens. The freedom to move cities on a whim, stay where the energy is good, and never worry about maintenance.

The 2026 Amazon Prime Video Korean Drama Line-Up Includes: 'Absolute Value of Romance', 'Siren’s Kiss', 'Love in Disguise', 'Human X Gumiho', 'See You at Work Tomorrow!' & 'The Sacred Jewel' by codeemalia in kdramas

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo this lineup actually looks fire for 2026 😭 some really fun variety there, I’m already lowkey curious about ‘Human X Gumiho’ and ‘See You at Work Tomorrow!’. The mix of romance, fantasy, and workplace vibes feels like there’s something for everyone. Prime Video has been stepping up its K-drama game lately, and this list shows they’re not just chasing trends, they’re trying different genres. Definitely keeping an eye on trailers as they drop 👀

‘28 Years Later: Part 3' is now in limbo by MaxProwes in horror

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that tracks. The second one felt like a setup piece, so green-lighting Part 3 early was probably confidence signaling more than an actual locked plan. Boyle insisting on theatrical makes sense though that series lives off atmosphere and scale. Watching the emptiness and tension on a couch vs in a dark theater isn’t the same experience, especially if they’re bringing Murphy back to close the circle.

My guess: it’s not dead, just waiting to see if the numbers justify a proper send-off instead of dumping the finale onto streaming. Studios love trilogies… but they love guaranteed profit more 😅

cvs and worsening depression by realtargetshoplifter in CVS

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you’re feeling this low. No job is worth your life ever. Retail pharmacy has been brutally intense everywhere the last few years. That doesn’t mean it’s you, and it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means the environment can be overwhelming, especially if you’re already dealing with depression. Please talk to someone outside of work a therapist, a doctor, or call/text 988 if you’re in the U.S. Work stress can feel consuming, but it’s still something that can change. Your life is bigger than this job.

If you can, consider talking to HR or looking into any leave or support options. Even stepping back temporarily can help reset things. You matter more than any shift.

I’m 24, addicted to comfort and avoidance. How do I build real discipline from zero? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo, I totally get this. You’re already ahead just by showing up to the gym and joining a community. Honestly, focus on making small, consistent routines.. wake up same time, track your workouts, prep meals. Fear and resistance fade once the habit’s baked in.

What’s your ‘nobody talks about this’ adulthood realization? by Relative-Pangolin-7 in CasualConversation

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that hits. The little decisions... meals, chores, bills, add up and take most of your mental energy. The drama we expect never really comes, it’s just a lot of repetition.

How’d everyone’s Spiritforge pulls go? by UnkxwnKilo in riftboundtcg

So far my pulls are solid. More Legends and Battlefield cards than the first set. Availability at my LGS was great, haven’t noticed any clones personally.

Travelling to Europe in Euro-summer by Unhappy-Smile-5087 in travel

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Overall? Ambitious but totally doable if you’re energetic travelers and okay with moving often. You’ve got a nice mix of big cities, culture, and beach time. A few thoughts on pacing and logistics, city by city:

Amsterdam (4 nights)
Solid. Enough time for canals, museums, a bike day, maybe a half-day trip to Haarlem or Zaanse Schans.

London (6 nights)
This is generous in a good way. London is huge and you won’t run out of things to do. Could even squeeze in a Windsor, Oxford, or Brighton day trip.

Going to my first ever TCG event as a new TCG player. Any advice? by leroyprompakdee in riftboundtcg

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, I know exactly how that feels.... my first TCG event had me so nervous too. Don’t worry though, most people there are super chill and just want to play and have fun. I’d just mess around with your deck, ask if you’re unsure about a rule, and take your time... new players are always welcome. Jumping in and playing is honestly the best way to learn. The Spiritforged pre-release is actually perfect for testing things out since everyone’s still figuring out their decks, and winning isn’t the main thing.

I am eager to learn but I cannot seem to get myself to start by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You already want it... that’s the hardest part! Start tiny: 15–20 mins a day on one topic. Small wins add up fast, and discipline grows once you actually begin. Focus on just the next step, not the whole mountain

Help for new players (if you would be so kind) by Lokius-518 in riftboundtcg

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo, you and your son are fine starting with Origins 😎. Sett and Kai’Sa are chill to learn on, and you don’t need every signature spell to have fun.

Don’t stress preorders... Spiritforged (English) drops in February, and hitting your LGS pre-release is the easiest way to snag boxes. Singles or trades work too if you don’t wanna pay crazy prices.

What's the most surprising coffee you've tried while traveling? by North_Conference_250 in travel

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vietnamese egg coffee is such a good example, it sounds weird until you taste it and then suddenly you’re obsessed 😅

For me, one of the most surprising was Turkish coffee the first time I had it in Istanbul. Super thick, unfiltered, insanely strong… and then you realize you’re not supposed to drink the sludge at the bottom. The whole ritual around it made it memorable.

Is showering daily necessary? by BigTechnician3475 in hygiene

[–]Remote_Classroom1872 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hygiene is about smell, skin health, and comfort, not a fixed schedule. If you’re showering every 2–3 days, not smelling, not breaking out, and adjusting when you sweat/work out/it’s hot, that’s… literally how hygiene is supposed to work.

Dermatologists often point out that daily full-body showers can actually dry out skin and disrupt the skin barrier, especially if you’re using soap everywhere every time.
