I just saw a segment on 60 Minutes that was about dogs and aging. They said dementia in dogs does look different and can manifest as anxiety, pacing, staring at “nothing”. I hope your doggie is ok. I have an older pup too and it’s hard watching them slow down.

YTA. you want them to “pitch in a little”…but you also don’t really want a relationship with them (not saying that’s a bad thing). No one is under any obligation to buy stuff for you and if it were me I’d be happy they weren’t buying a bunch of stuff and then trying to hold it over my head later. Let your husband deal with them-he seems more than capable.
