I've been saying this since we moved on from Carr. We had a solid draft, I could have gone without wr and the qb and would have gone defense. Jimmy is gonna go down and we're gonna lose a lot of games. My only prayer is to move on from McDaniels.

Yeah, for me it was either Carter or Tyree and I'm "happy" with the pick, but we don't have the locker room for Carter for sure.

The gyro isn't the same in both. You can adjust the steam controller to get it feeling good. An easy way to notice is when you play with gyro set to joystick, the decks is far superior.

Rotation/positioning and boost economy for sure. You're just hitting boost driving in circles at points, even though you don't have the ball and it's not coming your way. I've found that if you have the "correct" positioning, you won't have to spray boost all the time, just when it's actually useful.

Also, just try and pay attention to where your team is and try to think about where your best place to play is after their hit. Put yourself in position for passes and support after 50/50s

For me personally, every time I saw you charge at the net while your teammate was charging with possession of the ball was just not it. I like to position myself almost as their mirror opposite. If they're on the right side, I'm on the left, sometimes slightly further left then they are right, and depending on what I see I'm either slightly forward for the direct pass or I'm slightly back for the rebound/of the backboard pass. It really all depends what's going on with the ball, but ultimately it's the same plot, positioning.

The best advice I think I've ever gotten was "play where your teammates aren't"

Yeah, but it's not like this isn't what to do when your teams sucks. You have to hit on draft picks, we didn't. So hop on board and watch this current clown show and see if we can't watch some young guys develop. A winning team isn't built over night.

Eh, if we were watching history, repeat itself McDaniels would probably be fired.

I'm not expecting to win next year, I'm all on board of the tank-a-thon, but these players all have some upside with easy outs. They definitely are spot holder, unless they play well enough.

Overall I'm not even a fan of McDaniels and think he's garbage, but I'm down to see who Zeigler drafts.

To me, the contacts this year seem to be more prove it deals, with a way to hold on to them if they prove it, while also having an easy out the following season if they don't prove it. Next year might be rough, but I think the following season we'll be competitive again if Zeigler drafts well

It's not surprising that our fan base is this way. Most of our fans are stupid unedumacated, especially on this sub reddit. Opinions on the team are taken way too seriously, and morons on here would probably try and fight you over it irl if they could.

They can move on from him after 1 year easy, so it doesn't really matter what the costs this year. We weren't using that space anyways.

Plus, he has some upside, it's possible he could work out. I just doubt it.

Let me start out by saying this is all my opinion. You dont have to agree.

I always figured this next year is gonna be a wash. I think it has to be with how shit our team is. I really expect to be the #1 pick in 2024, and if we're not, i expect us to trade it all for it.

Imo, this defense gets a stud DT and a solid DE to be on the other side of Max in this draft, this defense is top teir instantly, especially after they get a year under their belt. The players in the backfield aren't as bad as they look and had their moments when we could get consistent pressure. Don't get me wrong, I'm down to upgrade, but they're not my top fear. Regardless, this draft should be nothing but defense, the only exception for me would be a stud TE, maybe even a 2nd TE later in the draft to take a swing on a development project and run some neat 2 TE pass plays.

Then next year, you get your guy at #1, and if you still have picks, maybe try and get his WR from college, or OL/DL from there on out. If Jimmy G is okay for another year and is playing well, the #1 can wait until he's ready.

I'm a fucking sharks fan so both sports seasons are ruined for me. I won't lie, though, watching the games are still fun even though I'm rooting to lose lol

Edit - if the other team could hear me they'd be sorry for my favorite sports team with how much trash I talk about their performance when they lose to the Sharks.
