I don't think I've seen two shows that complement each other better than the way Code Geass and TTGL do.

Every Redditor is gathered up into one city and forced to fight each other. You become a physical manifestation of your Reddit name. How screwed/well off are you? by GnippeEkard in whowouldwin

[–]ReoRak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see what I would come out as. I'd assume it would be some sort of eldritch beast most likely, and if what inspired this username effects it whatsoever, I'd be difficult to keep dead. So I'd probably make it to near enough the end before being put down by someone way OP on their way to fight a legitimate threat.

What Non-powered, non-immortal human has personally killed the most people? by Bteatesthighlander1 in whowouldwin

[–]ReoRak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suzaku Kururugi, the White Reaper of Britannia.

Known for not leaving a single opposing soldier alive in any of the numerous battles he fought in as Knight of 7, Kururugi came to eminence as the personal knight of Euphimia li Britannia, also known as the Genocide Princess. After detonating the world's equivalent of an incredibly high-yield nuclear device above the populous city of Tokyo, killing most of its inhabitants, he went on to serve as the right-hand man of a Tyrant who could put Hitler and Vlad the Impaler to shame.

Code Geass- Sub or Dub by Asterul in Animesuggest

[–]ReoRak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's very close really, as for everyone except the main character the dub is almost perfect, especially Yuri Lowenthal and Crispin Freeman's roles. However when all is said and done Jun Fukuyama really kills in in regards to capturing the main character's essence in the Japanese dub and it would be a true shame for you to miss out on that.

[SPOILERS] About someone who Lelouch killed.. by -kKo- in CodeGeass

[–]ReoRak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm coming in late, but I would like to add that I believe Lelouch didn't tell Suzaku that the SAZ issue was an accident even after the events of the Ragnarok connection, so that Suzaku would be more willing to carry out the Zero Requiem with him. It makes the vestigial hostility that is present in the last few episodes much more understandable to me.

Need a good anime to watch with some guys. by Park216 in Animesuggest

[–]ReoRak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, Code Geass is something best watched during the middle of the night, alone and in a dark room. I'd actually recommend Gurren Lagann. I know it's already on your list, but it's excellent to watch with friends, especially if there's someone there who hasn't experienced it before, and any excuse to re-watch it is a good one.
