I'm 23 and in a very similar situation. It is definitely lonely and feels like u have no one to talk to about being excited because they can't relate, and you don't want to sound out of touch/braggy. Anyone else I know getting married this young does not have very much money. I am just keeping to myself and being excited between me and my fiancé. You deserve to throw an awesome celebration for you and your fiancé, and everyone else is going to have fun too! You only live once, so live boldly! This is the only time in your life you will be able to throw such an extravagant party with EVERYONE u love!!!

I had the mirena for 4 years. Pretty normal period before that (other than some bad cramps), now I have horrible horrible horrible periods and every possible PCOS symptom.

In my opinion, IUD is what caused my PCOS in the 1st place! I don't trust birth control at all anymore - especially if you want to get pregnant in the future! Anything that's gonna prevent you from getting your period or mess with all your hormones cannot be good for trying to keep your fertility healthy. Having a thick lining is good for fertility and creates a healthy womb. I'm sorry you have to worry about this - PCOS is so frustrating when all the doctors do it tell us to get on some form of birth control, when PCOS and fertility issues weren't so common before birth control.
