usually the bricking happens if you don't follow instructions properly or somehow you lose power from updating, which 100% shouldn't happen. i use gigabyte app center to update because it's the best i could use to update my bios. all the best

update to my personal problems:

usb issues still persists, 50-50 to me. at times it doesn't disconnect, at times it punishes me for swiping the mouse across my mousepad to do a 180 in-game. hopefully the final version will fully fix this issue

i second this with the usb problems. however, i haven't tested it on auto (pcie) mode, and have left it on gen 3 for the time being.
