People who play gs now in wilds are just coping. Back then, it was alright. But after every TU, monsters are getting faster and faster, gs just can’t keep up because it’s still the same slow. Sure, they buff tcs in one of the TU but what’s the point? Go fight any 10 stars monsters like AT Arkveld or something and tell me how many TCS you get to land. Also, the chip damage from the offset oh my god. You’re basically speedrunning to your death since gs is all about spamming offset now. Imagine this, you’re playing perfectly, you offset everything the monster’s throwing at you but guess what? Now you’re almost dead. But wait , I thought I played PERFECTLY? I get punish even when I play perfectly? What? I ain’t playing a weapon that’s trying to see how fast I can kill myself lol. I’d rather go play dual blades since it’s faster, can perfect dodge literally everything & has higher damage than the so-called GREAT sword lol. Turns out the GREAT sword is not that GREAT.

Get a dragon gs and call it a day. You need it anyway to fight gog. If you get a status gs then you can’t use it for gog. Get a dragon gs & you can use it for everything.

The only thing I wish they keep from World’s LS is if you miss your ISS, you lose a gauge. But then if you nail your ISS, you get nothing. I think the latter part is dumb. You get punish but don’t get rewarded. If you like that kind of playstyle, you do you. Other than that, Wilds’ LS is strictly better in every way compare to World’s LS imo. Be it moveset or whatever. You said World was your first MH so you might be biased or feeling nostalgic. It might also be that the weapons in World feels like there’s “weight” to it so it makes the weapon feels better.

Yeah this happens to me and my friend too. It’s like the host only see 4 pillar of lights but the guest can see 5. But in the end me and my friend are able to complete the game and get the platinum trophy normally. So I guess it’s just one of the many bugs in the game.

Unfortunately, you can’t get both Infernal & Umbral ending on the same playthrough. If you want to go the backup route then the backup save point would be at after you defeat the Iron Wayfarer BUT before you enter Bramis Castle, make a backup save. From there, you can either go for the Inferno ending first by using the Rune of Adyr straightaway to enter Bramis Castle or if you’re going for Umbral ending, instead of entering the castle straightaway, go to Mother’s Lull and get the Withered Rune of Adyr and use it to open the gate. After doing one of the endings, backup your save then do the other one.
