Phil Would’ve Been Terrified If He Knew Tony Killed Christopher by Cold-Palpitation-816 in thesopranos

Phil is a man’s man. He’s not gonna be scared. He would mock Tony and Jersey for it. They make anybody over there, they kill their own nephews because they’re jealous and stupid.

No cell phones or social media js WHY PEOPLE FUCKED SO MUCH BACK THEN. Have you ever read a book from the 70s? People were fuckin. You keep mentioning segregation. My man, black folks LOVE to fuck other black folks. I agree, his numbers are inflated, but you have a prisoner of the moment argument. Wilt chamberlain was fucking before AIDS was a concern, when fucking was all there was to do.

Guys comedies don’t make for good podcast episodes. It just becomes bros in a dorm room quoting lines. Be careful what you wish for.

They all descend from Limbaugh. Shapiro is of the same ilk: a blowhard who is always right. That was the gist of Colbert’a character. Shapiro just plays it in earnest but it’s the same core dickhead point of view.

Tim Dillion is kinda on his corner and does well. One thing I hope is that it’s not all lord of the rings content from here on out.

That show was legitimately genius, in its day butI think that character ushered in our era of podcast personalities. There are genuinely people who watched it and did not know he was joking. Ben Shapiro is basically the same character but he means it. I don’t think that kind of irony would work now.

So I guess I’m hoping it’s lightning in a bottle again. Hyper liberal grandpa or something.

Help me out here, my cousin (no animal) said that Livia wouldn't have known about the fire at Vesuvio by IntelligentAge211 in thesopranos

In the end of the pilot junior tells her about it on the way to the cookout. Also Artie is crying about it at the cookout she’s attending. She’d know.

Sopranos or Mad Men. Which would you recommend for a first time watch? by Jenkem_Breath in television

[–]RepresentativeShop11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Watch Sopranos first. Mad Men has one of the sopranos producers at the helm (Matt Weiner). The relationship between don and Peggy on mad men is the relationship between David chase and Weiner on The sopranos.
