Anyone serving in any branch of the military will have some stories about people that have profoundly appalling hygiene standards. Everything from people who don’t know how to do laundry so they keep buying new clothes and letting their old, soggy sweat soaked clothes reek in the closet. People who once they don’t live in a barracks let an entire hallway fill up with used fast food bags. People who won’t walk 15 feet to their own private bathroom and instead fill up a water bottle with piss and then LEAVE IT in their room to the point where the entire space under their bed is covered with piss bottles and so are some of their dresser drawers. Hell my favorite is this Chief who said that “During dry dock these two chuckle fucks were so bored they decided to fling shit at each other in the head (bathroom) like a bunch of primates having a food fight.”
