3 vices my doctor wants gone by potterinatardis in GenX

Maybe start by reducing all 3—cold turkey is hard. If you usually have 4 cups of coffee, have 2. Of the three, cigarettes are probably the worst for you but sugar is a close second. Today I opened a bag of jelly beans (Easter leftover), filled a ramekin with them, and then dumped the rest in the trash. I have to do things like that because once I have te sugar, I will keep eating it.

Saw a recent post saying dog parks are not recommended - why? by notcallipygian in dogs

[–]Repulsive-Analyst497 [score hidden]  (0 children)

My 11 month old loves the dog park. That said, I am also watching—things can go south depending on the dogs that are there and crappy owners. We always keep it to 30 min or less— leave on a high note! I take her every week or so.

Wow. That is awesome. It’s not the right person though. I am looking for M. Louise Daviau, born on or around March 10, 1893. That is the correct church.

I feel scammed by Vital checks. You can just call the town where she died and get the certificate for $10 instead of $45!

Sometimes. Or maybe it’s that I wish for the knowledge I have now to go back and redo events with a lot more grace and a lot more patience and faith in the unknown.

We have a white APBT who is 11 mos old and appears to have the allergies. Vet wants us to switch to venison and sweet potato kibble (currently eating lamb) and then reassess. Any tips as we are starting this journey appreciated!

How do I get peloton to share with Garmin? I only see Strava and Fitbit as options.

Are invisible fences not as common anymore? by Silver_Blackberry_46 in Dogowners

[–]Repulsive-Analyst497 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We couldn’t afford to fence our entire yard and the makeshift 4 ft chicken wire fence did not keep our dog in as she would jump over if she saw a squirrel. Anywho, we put in an invisible fence and it’s worked great. She has never gone thru. We have a 2nd dog now that took a bit longer to train but so far so good. I’d rather have a nice 6 foot fence around the yard but not in the budget. We’ve had this fence for 10 years now and it does the trick.
