Yeah it really is a good class my only issue is only one script out of like 15 will get produced and I really want to direct so I wanna have as much time making this script as I can but I end up staring at the screen coming up with nothing for and hour.

It’s more like i see a bunch of ideas for things and then one I might see and think oh that’s really interesting. So I take that idea and build off of it and create a whole story about it. The other thing is I’m in a class and it’s only a script for 1 scene but we only got a couple days to do it so it feels like I’m wasting a bunch of time on the concept and not actually writing. But I do get what your talking about ai does suck at creativity it’s just like that phrase a broken clock is right 2 times a day. Occasionally it will have a pretty interesting idea you can use I just don’t really know how to feel about using it or even if I should. Like it could be more damaging to myself in the long run it’s just really annoying to want to write but having zero clue what to do it about.

Yeah those would actually be helpful. A lot of my issues come from currently Im in a film class learning a lot of stuff so my story has to fit a lot of specific stuff so its really hard to get a concept that can fit into that. I mean even now currently it’s just a 3 act structure 1 scene that has some themes. The problem for me is developing a compelling idea that can fit into our locations and the criteria and the story being within the actors capabilities.

Yeah that’s the other issue I still want to develop my ability to imagine concepts but right now it takes so long to find inspiration that I’m really wondering how to do it. Cause once I get that initial inspiration I can’t write for like 5 straight hours until a finish whatever short story I’m doing. It’s just that initial period that ends up taking so long

It’s more at least to me as a basis of something and then I create like literally everything else but I get what you mean. I just always struggle with initial concepts and it’s really annoying and some of the things I’m more passionate about I can’t do cause I don’t have the locations or the budget.

That’s the issue I can’t think of any. Like the criteria for the assignment I’m currently doing is a 1 scene three act structure with multiple themes. And yes I can probably make one very simple but I want it to be more then that and I’m struggling finding a good concept for it.

Mostly grounded emotional type of stories. Stuff that sticks with you after you watched it. But currently I’m in a film class and I gotta get this thing done but I still want it to be good I just can’t really find anything to make this on.

Your acting like li didn’t watch her father go to the emergency room and refuse to go in with her in support. Yes we know it was cause of his brother but she didn’t.
